Dosa Crepe Cafe — Restaurant in Vernon

Our visit was unplanned and very last minute late night dinner! If I could, I would have given this place a 10 star for their service! The gentleman serving us was extremely courteous and attentive. Food was good and we loved the beef dosa and the chicken biryani. Food was fresh and made to our liking and preferences. Our server made sure to check with us how we were liking the food and even offered to let him know if we didn’t like anything from what was served to us, and that he would get us a fresh item prepared again. I mean, who does that?!!! Hats off! I’ve seen most restaurant owners become defensive when you point out something about their food that’s not up to the mark. Anyway, the food was 100% good and we had nothing to say, except all praises! Anyway can’t wait to try the South Indian...

Dosa Crepe was my 153rd eatery in Vernon on my journey to eat at every single eatery in Vernon.

This was indeed my 2nd to last eatery in Fruit Union Plaza (I mispoke when I said Freshii was--I still have to visit Marble Slab).

I had the spicy vegetable dosa meal and a root beer. I paid $19.73 after tax and tip.

My dosa meal tasted really good.

My server was super helpful.

The restaurant stayed open for me despite it being closing time (unintemtional Semisonic reference).

The only downside is I had major stomach problems after this meal. It was my first dosa crepe and my stomach wasn't prepared for it.

So be prepared for that after you eat your meal.

Overall, I highly recommend this new spot.

Super pleased with how much I ate...

First of all the order taker cane to us within 30 seconds to ask what would you like and after 3 minutes again like they are rushing you. I ordered 3 Rava "masala" dosa not just blank Dosa. Secondly my dosa was half raw and way to oily thirdly sambhar was bland no taste. When i showed them it was raw the server went to the cook and told him. I would not recommend it to anyone. One can adjust with taste but raw food in any restaurant is unacceptable. They shouldn't have charged me for 3 dosas. I went to subway and ordered myself a sandwich right after that and it was way better. I don't even know if this place has a manager everyone was all over the place. Poorly managed owners should...
