Wow!! Waited 28min for two people ahead of me. Other than not moving along the process not entirely the kids fault. Not apologizing for the wait wasnāt a great start. Did not weigh the ice cream so ended up under 3/4full. Itās $19 for a litre and I wanted what I paid for so I mentioned the slight. Buddy acts like heās doing me an extra and says sure Iāll top that up!!! Like are you serious, just plopped another scoop and a half on the top and said here you go. Doesnāt mix it with the toppings nothing. The whole thing was 32 min of which I got four of his half ass effort lol. Iāve been going to marble slab in two cities now and many years and usually itās really great, well trained kids. Time to look into this or like many companies find yourself out of business. I mentioned the weighing the ice cream which has happened every single visit Iāve ever had, except this one, he responded āI guess it depends on whoās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my 165th eatery on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.
I bought two ice cream flavours in a regular Skor premium cone (premium cone was the deal of the day) with chocolate chips and marshmallows mixed in.
There is a bench outside, this isn't a safe or relaxing area in town.
I ate inside on a bench as there weren't any tables.
The ice cream was delicious, but I paid $11.11 after taxes.
After visiting every ice cream vendor in town, that likely puts Marble Slab as the most expensive ice cream shop in town. The only one that might be more expensive for a cone is Purdy's.
It was delicious, but it's tough to justify double digits for a cone.
I wish there was a table inside.
Staff was friendly and the store was clean.
If you have a craving and have the extra money to splurge, come by!

I guess the ice cream touched too many surfaces before going into my stomach: two scoops, weights, the black (literally) board and more. Never mind that I paid 1.99 plus tax for a "premium" cone, but received a wrong kind - Oreos instead of white chocolate. Another funny fact: I asked for two flavours: bubble gum and cake. Bubble gum is pink and cake is off white. The ice cream makes asked me in which order do I want the scoops to go I to the cone, to which I replied that it does not matter. After couple of seconds of thinking out loud the ice cream maker(girl) put the cake in and the bubble...
