I chose this food in the mall because it is one of my favorite foods. The meat in the green Thai sauce looked like starck white rubbery boiled fillets with that white cuddle you get when you boil meat. I said I can't eat that, can I please get the Bangkok chicken instead. They accommodated me, and I was appreciative and thankful. The lady was pleased and I gave a tip. I sat down and took one bite into a rubbery fatty piece of chicken with the worst taste and texture, I lost my appetite immediately. I went back and explained I can't eat this. The lady went on to tell me she couldn't give me a refund only food. I told her I'd stand here and complain to her and whoever, potential customers or otherwise heard me until they gave me my money back after a few people walked away hearing me stating repeatedly, over and over that the food was awful and she is stealing from me by not returning my money! She returned it. I do not recommend anyone trying this place, there are other really good restaurants to eat at within...
Read moreWent here on Sept 18th around 530pm. I ordered noodles with curry sauce and mango chicken and green beans. It tasted awful. The chicken was so dried out it was almost clear inside and tasted like cardboard. The green beans were awful and had probably been sitting out for hours and the noodles tasted like mush. I spent $19 something for that and a drink. I asked for a refund and I was told no but they could give me fresh and what I had previously was old. Why serve me old? Toss it away and give customers fresh food. My only option was to try something else. So I did and I took one bite and again AWFUL. I threw it out and wasted $. Very disappointing that I could not get a refund and was served something I would not even give out for free. Will...
Read moreVisited California Thai twice, one of those times I was just getting leftovers near closing and the other times I visited during regular hours.
The quality between is extreme to say the least, when the food is fresh, it’s great. I got the pork belly esque protein along with mixed veggies and lo mein. That was very delicious and honestly was so satisfying.
The other one was leftovers and just got a lot of food. Some of the protein was still good, but most of the veggies (the green beans) along with the chicken and noodles were actually inedible. The chicken did not have chicken, pure breading which was hard to eat. The noodle was actually tasting gross and was bad.
It’s a mix, it’s not worth to get leftovers here but I would recommend...
