Ordered pizza for myself and my son he is 2.5 years of age. My toddler has aggressive dairy allergies. I stated over the phone that his needed to be 100% dairy free I stressed this several times. The person on the phone confidently assured me there would be no dairy products on his pizza. Now I know there is milk powder in the regular dough, I was told by a staff member in previous months the whole wheat was 100% dairy free so naturally I ordered this dough with vegan daiya cheese not the soya cheese that has milk proteins. The order taker quickly took the order almost blowing over my concerns on my order. So when I picked up I asked again to make sure, apologized for my persistence and told them if my son ingests dairy or any type of dairy product, he will violently vomit and have diarrhea for two days. The two gentleman said no worries there is no dairy in this pizza. Feed it to my son and two hours later he is throwing up the pizza and has diarrhea everywhere. Now either there was cross-contamination or my order was disregarded. Either way. My toddler has been affected by this and I’m less than impressed. I will be calling in the morning and hoping there’ll be a resolution. This will be my last time, ordering with hot House, as this is now the third time in a row I’ve had issues with their pizzas and issues with their staff not listening to my orders. I hope you guys can improve your quality of customer service and taking the time to take note of what your clients are ordering so there’s less incidents like...
Read moreSomething’s seriously off with this place lately. Came in during a slow time and waited at the counter while the guy working was scrolling on his phone. When he finally looked up, he gave me a bored stare and asked, ‘What do you want?’ Ordered a slice and asked if it could be heated up, since it looked like it had been sitting there a while. He actually rolled his eyes before tossing it in the oven, and when it came back lukewarm, I asked if he could heat it a bit more. He muttered, ‘It’s as good as it’s gonna get,’ and turned away.
I tried talking to the supervisor nearby, thinking she might care, but she just shrugged and said, ‘We’re busy, that’s just how it is.’ No apology, no attempt to make it right—just total arrogance like I was out of line for even asking. Used to come here often, but after this level of disrespect from both staff and management, I’ll be finding a new spot. It’s clear customer service isn’t a priority...
Read moreCame in here the other day, and honestly, I was pretty grossed out. The place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while—crumbs and stuff all over the tables and floors. Not exactly appetizing.
While I’m waiting to order, I watch the supervisor being super rude to the customer in front of me, acting like they were a nuisance for just asking about their food. And to top it off, one of the employees in the back was slamming trays around and looked like they were ready to lose it.
Between the dirt, the attitude, and the stressed-out vibe, I decided to just leave. Plenty of other places where you don’t feel like you’re interrupting someone’s bad day just...
