Insideout Home Store — Local services in Victoria

My wife has been looking for slip covered furniture for a while. We have been to places like Crate and Barrel and Restoration Hardware but did not find anything that we liked. Then we found the Insideout Home Store!

We actually heard about it from another furniture store in Victoria that recommended we check out Insideout Home store and we are sure happy they did.

Cardna took great care of us on our first visit. She answered all of our questions and more. We checked out the sofas, chairs, covers and other accessories. She let us take our time sitting on the various pieces. It really allowed us to get the sense of the quality of the furniture.

After a few hours of trying out chairs and sofas and asking lots of questions, my wife picked out fabric samples to take home. We had all the information we needed, it was a matter of determining which colour and fabric was the best for our home. Once we were home, my wife contacted the store and spoke to Sue, the owner. She agreed to meet us at the store a few days later when we were en route to Vancouver.

Sue met us an hour before the store was set to open. In an hour, she was able to answer a few more questions and then placed our order for a sectional sofa and two swivel rocker chairs. It will take 8 to 9 weeks and all delivery arrangements will be made through the store.

The prices are comparible to other higher end furniture stores, with or without slip covers. We liked the quality of this furniture and the slip covers better than the others.

Five Stars does not seem enough for the level of personal service we received from Cardna and Sue. We are excited to receive our new living...

The experience of purchasing one the gorgeous slipcover couches was truly remarkable on so many levels . Sue is an honest and fair business woman ,a real straight shooter, which I really appreciated when choosing and purchasing my couch . She was knowledgeable about the product as well as having a keenly sharp sense of home design style. She made me feel comfortable that the investment in such a high quality piece would definitely be rewarded in the years to come . As I write this review perched in the arms of my obscenely comfortable couch I can clearly see that she is indeed correct! I would highly recommend Insideout for household furnishings and accessories. Since purchasing a vacation rental in Victoria in 2014 Sue has helped me with furnishings and accessories. She personally made several "house calls" to get a feel for the space and my needs. The customer service is the best of any establishment that I have dealt with in Victoria. They have provided friendly customer service and have spent time in finding just the right things for us. They have been accommodating and helpful in furnishing another condo in Nanaimo as well. Beyond furniture I have found wonderful household accessories both for my personal use and as gifts. Best store in Victoria-both in merchandise, price and service. I would highly recommend...
