As someone who walked in off the street, I didn't realize this was a vegan cafe. I ordered a couple of sandwiches. One for me and one for a coworker. My coworker has a soy allergy. I didn't realize the chicken sandwich and turkey club sandwich were made from a meat substitute. My coworker is fine but I felt awful at the time.

I love that there's a vegan cafe in the downtown core but I feel like the signage on the sandwiches is misleading because the signage just says chicken sandwich and turkey club. No where does it say vegan friendly chicken sandwich or plant based turkey club. If there is signage, I do apologize. However I went back a second time to see if this my fault. I still didn't see obvious signage but there were clues around me as I looked closer. Lots of the retail products were labeled...

Amazing food and amazing customer service. If you're vegan (and even if you're not) and you want to try some really filling and delicious sandwiches and coffees you ought to buy from here. I've gotten food from here maybe 6 times in 10 days! Its so good that I haven't really visited any other vegan place in a while!

One time I wanted a product that used to be on the menu but its been recently removed. The staff was eager to make it for me and it was as good as always!!

Finally, my last order from skip was delayed for over 1 hour and yates coffee bar gave me extra food with no extra charge even though it wasn't their fault. Top tier customer service. I super recommend!

Edit: im adding a couple of pictures of this weeks GHOST kitchen...

Great spot for a pastry and caffeinated beverage in the downtown area of Victoria. They have lots of choices, both sweet options and savory, as well as Breakfast and Lunch options.

The Breakfast Wrap, covered with grill marks, looked and tasted amazing. They have a few wraps to choose from and sadly, I don't remember which one we had ordered. It was a generous sized wrap and every bite filled with flavor. The S'Mores Brownie and Ukee Bar were both every bit as rich and decadent as they look. The Sausage Roll was unique with the flaky outer texture combined with the soft snap of the sausage.

Such a wonderful place! I ordered delivery crunch wraps (their take on the Taco Bell staple) and a chocolate cake. The only cake they had was frozen so they first tried to call me, then when I didn't pick up, they sent the cake and 5 free muffins to help tide me over! The crunch wraps aren vegan and really tasty, and this is coming from a pretty dedicated omnivore. The sandwiches and crunch wraps here are really good, with the service even better. If you need a quick bite and a great coffee I can't recommend this place enough. PS the cake was perfect temperature by the time it arrived so those muffins will be for tomorrow.

Great location, and have walked by many times but decided to drop in today to give it a try. My wife had an iced latte, which I thought was pretty good with a good amount of coffee flavor. She didn't think it had enough of the salted caramel that she added (probably why I liked it more than she did). I had a cappuccino. They don't have skim milk, unfortunately, and it was very light on espresso and heavy on milk. Not my preference. Very expensive as well.
