Alpha Cafe — Restaurant in Whistler Resort Municipality

One of the best cafes in Whistler!

We had an amazing experience at Alpha Cafe in Whistler! We stopped by for breakfast and ordered the chicken sandwich, which was super fresh and had a great portion size. The Dulce coffee was also out of this world - definitely a highlight!

What really impressed us was the 50% off treats offer after 2 pm. We picked up a couple of simple-looking chocolate brownies for takeout, and they were absolute perfection! After microwaving for 5 seconds, the inside got all soft and gooey with a delicious melted chocolate core... mind blown!

The cafe's location is fantastic, and the patio seating area is clean, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying a meal. We can't recommend Alpha Cafe enough - it's a must-visit when you're in Whistler! We'll...

The food was okay and nothing too crazy but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. All the tables were dirty, and we had to clean our own. After placing and paying for our order, we waited for five minutes before being informed by a staff member that they had run out of what we ordered. Her delivery lacked empathy, and there was no apology for the inconvenience or for not letting us know sooner. When the food finally arrived, they had forgotten our drinks. We had to remind them, and once again, there was no apology. One of the items we ordered was a "Nutella croissant," but it didn't contain any Nutella and just a strange mix of whipped cream and chocolate.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience. This place feels overrated, and I don't see...

When I first arrived in whistler I was adament to try a bunch of different restaurants to see what the village had to offer. After my first breakfast at Alpha cafe, that goal morphed into trying everything on their menu (for breakfasts at least). Extremely good quality, quick eats. The food gets as complex as you so choose (including a "homemade vegimite" pastry) that I cant wait to come back for. Highly highly recommend a stop here at least once. Im not sure what the other breakfast places in whistler are like to be honest, but this one was so shockingly good that I didnt want to go anywhere...
