Nut allergy: Didn't ask for the margarita pizza. Review is for happy hour only. By some miracle, we got a table for 10 in about 15 minutes at 4:30PM and caught the end of their happy hour. Expect a 20+ minute wait during their happy hour, especially on weekends. Amazing happy hour in the area! Craft beers are $5.50 which includes their rotating tap of beers up to 9.5% ABV, which is incredible. They really CHURN out those margarita pizzas during happy hour. It was less than 20 minutes from being seated and less than 15 minutes from ordering to when we got our pizzas on the table. It was mentioned that one person could finish a happy hour margarita pizza solo. Maybe if you're starving off the lift! We were stuffed with two pizzas for three people (plus 1-2 beers each), and some friends that were lighter eaters shared one pizza for two people. The pizzas are served with a little plate with parmesan, peppers, and herbs that are an excellent touch. Random aside, but their restaurant point of service (POS) system might be the best I have ever seen. The waitress effortlessly split two pizzas three ways and gave us individual bills. Touch Bistro was the name and I hope that gets adopted in the States! Overall, phenomenal service and the space inside is bigger than it seems so you might get lucky with a table!

We had a very bad/terrible experience…highly recommended we thought we were going to have a lovely evening with some yummy pizza as it was my son’s birthday and Mother’s Day….unfortunately they were only doing takeaway as it was a very slow day and so had sent home a lot of the staff!! At the time of ordering (around 8.40 PM) we clearly asked for a well made/crisp pizza… Within about 5-7 minutes of reaching home and opening the pizza box…we were first taken aback to see unsliced pizza…then when we tried to slice it we realised it was soggy in the middle and the edges were rubbery and wouldn’t cut easily… Upon calling the restaurant we got a response of , “Oh, we are sad about ur unfortunate experience but there’s no way we can help u!” And went on to agree that they should have informed us about their pizzas being unsliced and that they are aware that the pizza becomes soggy…ours was even dripping all over when we picked up the slice( which ever shape we could manage) as u can see in the attached pic.. Very Very Sad and Disappointing!

We stayed at the Fairmont, and many of the staff highly recommended having lunch here. Unfortunately, our first impression was disappointing. When we arrived, the restaurant was only about half full. However, the hostess didn’t acknowledge us for some time, and when we asked for a table for two, she led us all the way to the very back corner of the restaurant — an isolated area where no one else was seated. When we politely asked if we could sit elsewhere, she rolled her eyes and, without saying a word, walked us to another table near the bar. The interaction felt very dismissive and, frankly, personal. It’s unfortunate because the food was delicious, and our server was friendly and professional. However, the initial interaction with the hostess left us feeling unwelcome and it set a negative tone for the experience. It’s disappointing to feel treated this way, especially after receiving such high recommendations. I’m not sure I would choose to return.

Let's get to the good, which is the pizza. Crust is very good, flavour is good. We tried 3 different pizzas and all were quite decent, with the exception that on one of them which had anchovies, they were slightly fishy. Hmmm... Why the mark down? Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. Even though we got there right after opening and maybe the 1st guests of the day, the tables were not clean. A splotch of tomato sauce right in front of me there. The wattle bottles/jugs on each table also did not appear to be particularly clean (or to be generous, maybe they were just well used?) And then the pizza, one of them had a clump of mystery powder on it. When we inquired about it, the wait staff said "Oh, it's probably just some ash from the oven. Just brush it off". Really? Nobody noticed it from the baker to the waitress? We're not talking about a few specks, it was about a tablespoon or two worth of ash in a huge clump. I would've sent it back but given the attitude of the whole place, I would've been more concerned about the kitchen staff making "special additions" to any pizza re-make here. Would I return? Hmm... not decided. They do make good pizza but the general sloppiness and casual attitude of the staff towards cleanliness & organization is concerning. I should also note that the staff were all unmasked. While technically in compliance with the rules at the time, no other restaurant or hotel we visited during our time there had unmasked staff. Even many retail shops still had...

Service started out decent. I had asked for the 4 cheese pizza for my kids, minus the gorganzola and the waitress was on board. A side of bread and drinks all around ($16 cocktail included) Then she said that the gorg is mixed with one of the other cheeses and could not be removed. I said, "cool just remove those 2 cheeses then." She said that I should go with a Margareta pizza. We agreed. Pizza came and was under cooked, had little cheese that was hard and cold(????). I asked for the pizza to have a little more cheese and to be reheated to melt cheese. She said okay (at this point she seemed upset with me. I've been in her position before so understand, but customer service 101 explains that she should show empathy and not frustration....the new pizza came and it had more cheese on it but it was burnt all the way around. Not charred (as you expect from a wood burning forno, but burnt). We cut off the burnt pieces and ate the rest. Told her I did not want to pay for the burnt parts(50%) of pizza. She was d Frustrated but ended up giving me a 50% discount on the pizza.

All-in-all, Im fine with people making mistakes (we all do), but don't make them the customers problem and then make the cust feel bad for asking a question. Terrible customer experience due to this otherwise, the remainder of the food and beverages was decent. I would go back and or recommend as along as this person...
