Best espresso flavor and coffee quality in Whistler, and my order was an iced Americano with oat milk. Iâve tried ALL the coffee shops in the Village and Upper Village as I was here for several weeks and have visited Whistler many times over the years.
Hands down this place has the best coffee made by baristas who really know what theyâre doing, if you care about that kind of thing. The coffee makes the other coffee spots taste so bland and watery, and the other spots are now mostly tourist traps anyways. I donât even want to go back to the other spots as Iâd rather go to Tim Hortons if I just want cheaper drinkable coffee on the go.
Most of the negative reviews are from a year ago where it seems there was a rude server, but she was no longer there when I went and the barista were nothing but extremely nice and friendly. Fast service too and a very modern, sleek interior thatâs different than the homey atmospheres in the rest of the coffee spots. Also, itâs wonderfully relaxing inside compared to the other spots that donât really have organization with their lines.
Modern and cute atmosphere overall focused on the craft of espresso and local art - definitely check out their website and collaborations with artists!
Bathroom was clean and spacious (unlike the very cramped Starbucks bathroom in the village). Next time I go Iâd definitely get any coffee drink and their new affogato. Whatâs better than high quality vanilla ice cream and...

I never write reviews, but this just didnât make sense to me. Whistler is built on customer service and based on this experience and company policy, Iâd say this business doesnât belong in Whistler.
Ordered a London fog. Was friendly with staff. Tipped. The drink had sugar in it, which I didnât want but didnât specify. I asked to confirm it had sugar in it, the barista confirmed. Said I should always specify when ordering. Fair.
I asked if it would be possible to get a new drink without sugar and apologized for not specifying. the barista said sure, dumped out my drink, but seemed bothered by the request. After pouring out the drink, she explained I would need to pay for another drink.
I respectfully asked if that was the policy at this café. She explained that making another drink would mean additional expenses etc etc. I can imagine those costs are less than $2. The drink was over $7 with tax. It was not busy, no line, no customers waiting. No opportunity cost. Just an opportunity to save a well intentioned repeat customer.
I then respectfully said that I understood her position, but that I just wouldnât be returning if that was how the cafĂ© handles customer service. She respectfully said that was fine and she understood, so I walked out without the drink I paid for, and wonât be walking back in.
Weird experience. No one was rude...
Read moreI had a half-caf Americano in an 8oz cup so it was nice and strong. I ordered an apple walnut muffin that was gluten free as there were only 2 muffins to choose from and that one sounded like it would be heartier. It was in fact I think the worst muffin I've ever had. Likely the GF mix was part of the issue but I've had plenty of GF muffins before that I liked. There was basically nothing in it, I ran into two walnuts and zero apples and the whole muffin had an odd sandy, crumbly texture. I definitely don't recommend that muffin. The Americano was perfectly suitable, no complaints. The location is convenient. It would be nice if the outside heaters that are hanging over the tables worked so you could comfortably sit out there. I remember them working back when it was a Starbucks and that was nice, especially for those coffeeing with their pups. The service consisted of one friendly enough barista, I'd be happy to be served by him again here or wherever. This one doesn't get a yay or a nay from me, it is what it is. If you need a coffee, it'll work. I will say that I would choose Blenz next door over Artigiano though. Much better food and vibe and the coffee...
