HandleBar Pizza — Restaurant in Whistler Resort Municipality

They forgot my order, but they didn’t forget to make it up to me. I ordered a Pepperoni and a Hawaiian Slice. Everyone around me got their order and I started to wonder. I inquired into the kitchen whether my order was on the way. They eventually got it out to me 5 mins after my inquiry and also gave me some spicy honey and ranch complimentary for waiting. I appreciate that and I will be back. So few places ever try to make it up to you that this was memorable that they did. Now that I had a chance to try the spicy honey, I might actually order the spicy honey in the future. It sounded too odd to make the jump but it was really nice on my Hawaiian and Pepperoni pizza.

If the manager is reading this… I would have ordered a drink but the only non-alcoholic beverage they have is soda water (which I actually generally like). Would have loved to see something like Kombucha on tap. Also would love other choices for dipping sauces as Dill Ranch isn’t necessarily...

Handlebar has figured out a light, delicious crust and an amazing set of flavors. Great beer selection, but please try the scotch. I'd never considered having scotch with my pizza, but I'm glad I did. Staff were delightful, knowledgeable, and very helpful. In one trip Handlebar has become a favorite. We'll be going back as often as we can.

*The Cardhu 12 and White Out are a great pair. The toffee taste and almost Cavendish scent from the scotch beautifully contrasted the savory garlic base and cheeses. The young-ish fire from the 12 really opens the palate and accents the sesame crust. I wish I could experience it again for the first time.

**We went back before we left and I tried the regular cheese. Again the crust is great. Airy and crunchy without being dry. Tangy tomato base and just the right amount of cheese. I'll eat pizza just about anywhere, but my favorite slices are Joe's in the Greenwich Village and now Handlebar. Keep up...

Easy 5 stars for this chill pizza shop. I would highly recommend HandleBar Pizza to anyone in the area. We tried the cheese, pepperoni, Hawaiian, and spicy calabrese and they were all delicious. We really enjoyed the thin crust and flavorful red sauce.

We went during a surprisingly very busy Thursday dinner at 5pm and our server (Lani?) was amazing holding down the fort. She was the only server and was juggling 4 tables inside and about 4 outside. We wanted to order a whole pizza but she told us that the wait time would be 45mins so we grabbed pizza by the slice and a few drinks. I can't wait to return to HandleBar Pizza...
