After trekking in from the village in the rain, we finally arrived at Milestones. Although it was quite busy and we had to wait a bit, host Jennifer immediately explained that a rush of customers was causing a slight delay. When I mentioned that we had been walking for a long time and hadn’t been able to get into any restaurant, she went above and beyond to seat us as quickly as possible—even providing a high chair before I had to ask. Thanks to her thoughtful service, we settled in and enjoyed a great lunch. Our server, Lily, was equally impressive—both welcoming and efficient. I highly recommend Milestones not only for its outstanding service but also for its reasonable prices compared to other restaurants. It’s a perfect spot to visit. The kids’ menu is very affordable and generous in portion size; my son loved the creamy pasta so much that he finished it all by himself! I also enjoyed a delicious chicken waffle during a weekend brunch before 2pm. Overall, it was a delightful experience filled with comforting food and excellent service.

We stopped by there for a quick bite after skiing. We visited Thursday 3pm, regular werkday not during holidays The gondola and lifts are done around 3 pm. There were a few customers, not many. We got a table without waiting. We had 3 plates, tacos, chicken bites, a burger, a glass of old fashion and belini from their happy hour menu. It was about $65 before tip. Little expensive side for happy hour, but their atmosphere, severes are dressed all black, nice also their service were good. I wouldn't mind spending once for a while occasion. My boyfriend and I were stuffed. We even took food home because we couldn't finish it. I like it they made fish of the tacos and French fries crispy. Their cocktails are beautifully presented, so that kinda perfect compliment for our occasion/ birthday trip. I would love to try their other menu, Cauliflower, since I overheard servers are blogging about, but unfortunately, we were too full to try. Maybe next time when we visit.

Spacious indoor sitting, beautiful mountain view outdoor sitting with firepits and heat lamps. I tried their Coconut Calamari - they made them with chuck size calamari beautifully fried with coconut and chili bits. Friend says it's spicy but it's perfect for me, both in favor and tenderness. Absolutely juicy. For dinner I inquired about the 1898 burger vs california burger. The waiter strongly recommended the California burger, and I now strongly believe in him. That candied bacon with mozzarella and provolone cheese deserves standing ovation from my taste buds. My friend who last visited a Milestone in his highschool years (so at least a decade ago :p) was pleasantly surprised the food quality improved so much compared to his memory. Not the cheapest menu (it's posted online), but the quality of food and service more than justifies its price (subjective opinion of course)

Oh where do I begin. I’ve been to this Milestones several times and they can’t seem to get their act together. However the bitter sting of disappointment grew stronger with the latest experience at this disaster of an establishment.

Arrived at the restaurant at 5:55pm to find out that they had given away our 6:00pm table to someone else. After waiting by the door for them to find a solution for around 10 minutes we were finally seated in a secluded part of the restaurant. Now you may think that it would be nice but the issue is there was barely any service(the overly stressed manager was taking care of us). The most disgusting thing was that we had a full view of one of the dirtiest kitchens I have ever seen. There were fries and food bits splayed all across the floor, that it really killed my appetite. It took at least 20 minutes for our drinks to come after ordering them. I had the chilli chicken bowl and what could’ve been a great dish was so overwhelmingly spicy that it completely killed any flavour in it (I’m half Indian so I can handle my spice). This place has servers running around in chaos, sweaty managers stepping in food on the floors and overall had an unwelcoming vibe.

All in all, the only consistency this restaurant provides… is being consistently terrible. Thanks for listening to my rant and please rethink going to this...

Probably the worst meal I’ve had in memory…likely the past 5-7 years. My husbands chicken sandwich had more mayo/sauce than meat/bun. His beer was flat - was the first time I’ve seen him not drink even half a beer. I ordered the chicken rice bowl (substituted tofu) - with sweet chilli sauce. I love sweet chilli sauce so was admittedly excited…not to mention really hungry. Unfortunately, it was so sickeningly sweet it was inedible. After scarfing a few bites I was overwhelmed by the sweetness…so I pushed the coated tofu to the side and ate a few bites of rice…the sauce had done it’s damage and even the rice was too sweet. To their credit, they took my meal off the bill - I didn’t ask for that but when the server asked how I liked it (keep in mind he told me it was ā€œreally really good,ā€), I told him how sweet it was. Our daughter had the chicken strips from the kids menu - she enjoyed them - but before leaving, she began feeling a massive headache come on…so bad that instead of going for ice cream, as planned, she went back to our hotel. She’s not prone to headaches so we were a bit surprised that happened. All in all, I can’t recall a worse dining experience - maybe ever. Sorry guys...

We reserved a week in advance. Thinking that maybe that would give us priority for a decent table. But we were seated in a table in the middle of the restaurant with staff or patrons buzzing by the table literally every 15-30 seconds. Not relaxing at all. When we asked if we could be moved to an empty and quieter table by the window, we were told it was being held for a reservation? Food came - my steak was well done as opposed to the medium rare I had ordered. I am not in the habit of sending food back, and the server did not check on us until we were far more than half done our meals anyway. No asking if we’d like more drinks (we had Bellinis and mine was empty), meaning a loss of revenue for the restaurant as we each would have had another. I still tipped 18% as the server seemed nice and I would have had to manually enter a tip % below 18% in the machine. I always try and maintain politeness so I did here - did not make a fuss, realizing that my online review might be a more effective way.

We come to Whistler every summer for 3-4 days, and have eaten here each time. I won’t come back. Too bad there is no cactus club here, would...
