Came by for a quick bite before the hockey game. They were very busy…..

Seating was an issue as the restaurant was full when we arrived at 5:45 pm and we were sat at the bar next to the dishwasher unit, which unfortunately got my wife’s purse and leg/pants soaked from the water.

Waited patiently until approximately 6:45 pm for our dinner and we even paid the bartender in advance so we didn’t need to wait to pay the bill; then I noticed our food sitting on the counter for approximately 10min prior to being served as they put dressing on the salad rather then on the side and once brought out the side of salad dressing which they had corrected had then been turned over on my plate ruining my dinner.

I could have sworn the waitresses thumb was in my dressing as she brought it over.

As soon as I noticed everything I said something to our bartender, a replacement was not going to be made in a timely fashion so I decided to not send it back as we had already been sitting there for an hour.

When it came time for them to address the issue with my meal they offered us drinks which we felt was poor management on their part as they should have done it professionally and had the management come over and resolve it and reimburse the one meal.

We understand the gesture from the bartender as she felt bad for what happened, this was the fault of the individual/waitress that brought the food over which was on her and she never offered any apology and stood there with a smirk which was awkward.

It wasn’t the money or credit we were looking for; but the principal which wasn’t received by the staff working.

Live and learn, won’t be back - More attention to detail and proper communication from management is...

I went for lunch with my mom at 2:00 well after the lunch rush on a week day... there was only about 2 other tables in the entire restaurant. First of all our server did not come to our table for well over 15 mins, in which case we already had drinks and had ordered with another server. After that, our server only returned once to give us our bill. Luckily one of the other servers working was much more helpful. My mom had ordered a salad with no chicken. When it came out not only did it have chicken on it, but it was very visibly raw on the inside, very rubbery and pink. My mother returned the salad and did not receive a new one until I was finished my meal which took about 30 mins... by this time she had to get it to-go. Our server returned with our bill and claimed to have known nothing about the situation and showed no remorse. The manager also came by after we had paid and was very unapologetic. He claimed that it actually would have been fine to eat the salad and chicken because although it did not meet Canadian standards, the chicken was cooked on the outside and would have been acceptable to eat. Raw poultry is extremely dangerous as it may cause salmonella poisoning, which is a serious health risk. Working at a restaurant myself, I was extremely unimpressed. I was surprised not only that raw chicken was served in the first place, but also that the situation was handled so poorly. With so many excellent restaurants in downtown Winnipeg, do not waste...

Hey everyone. I was staying at the hotel next door to this restaurant for the second time. Every time I'm here I always try to give this place a chance , thinking it's not as bad as I remember it. But, unfortunately after this trip, I'm just over it. The management and staff here are absolutely unattentive to customer service and quality control. I've come to this restaurant many times and just been left sitting there with no server coming to say hi or anything and having to leave. Went for a drink with a friend and the manager made us a cocktail (because the bartender was missing and we were sitting there for an awkward amount of time, (the place was entirely empty), the drink he poured us was extremely different than the drink the bartender poured, and when we pointed it out to the young manager with glasses, he really didn't care or didn't seem to want to address the situation. We even asked it to get replaced, he just walked away saying, "oh well I don't pour drinks that's what I pay my staff to do". Most of the time the staff are sitting around with unhappy and bitter looks on their faces. One of those "Mean Girl" Club Vibes. Not to mention the whole place smells like dirty bar rags.
