The redeeming qualities of this place are the obvious beautiful scenery. Watching polar bears play while you eat is amazing. But rarely do I feel the need to give a negative review of a place and the food here was so awful that I was compelled to send you feedback. This was yet again another awful lunch here. Last time I had your bland hamburger soup and figured maybe you had an off day. Today, I had a Tundra burger and it was possibly the worst burger I've ever had. After waiting 35 minutes for our order, you gave me a burger that had a bun that was broken and half of the top bun was attached to the bottom bun, not sliced open. Because of this, the burger wasn't even inside the bun but flopped along the half side of it and half out of it. Half of it was just fallen out on the wrapper. I had to tear it apart and shove it all together. Because of this as well, there was dry bun on half. It was cold, it was gross, and it the whole thing was dry. I also ordered an iced mocha which came with no ice in it and it was like warm (like actually warm?) and I had to go add ice from the pop machines. I don't know why you would see iced mocha if you don't have ice to make them. I work in a prison and the prison kitchen puts out better food than this. If I were working in your kitchen I would be ashamed to put out food like this. You need to overhaul your restaurant because it is not a one off or bad day. You are consistently putting out sub par food that wouldn't even pass the standard of a bad burger stand. The pulled pork tacos my wife ordered were also awful. Anyway. Your polar bears and polite staff are your your only...
Read moreIt's designed to be kid friendly so the menu is mostly Burgers and Fries. They do have some decent healthier options, but it's mostly a greasy spoon kind of joint. There are also some packaged sandwiches available in the coolers. Their biggest draw is the soft serve ice cream - and the fact that you can watch polar bears out the window while you're eating. They come right up to the glass and look at you it's pretty fantastic.
Prices are cheap there's lots of seating. The area is comfort and the bathrooms are clean. There is a play area for children attached to the cafe, and there's a gift shop at this...
Read moreThe food was fine, but the state of the room was unacceptable. The floor was littered with food, wrappers, napkins, order receipts, etc. There were also multiple spilled liquid puddles. Most tables were wiped down, but to sit at them your feet would be stepping on garbage. Some of the ketchup and napkin dispensers were empty. The area was quite quiet and the staff did not seem to be very busy, as to not be able to attend to the room. This was at 3pm, so perhaps they were starting to wind down for the day, but the level of cleanliness and upkeep made the experience very...
