There are many vendors at Central market trying to get the attention of tourists. We decided to try this place on the outer ring of the market as we could see a number of local people dining there and we were not disappointed! All of the staff were fantastic, and we ordered the seafood garden which was delicious. Also free bread and fish soup for entree. If you're wanting to visit Central market I'd recommend stopping here for a...

I fancied a simple fried fish and chips but after seeing the menu ended up choosing the sea bass with mushroom sauce, fries and ensalada rusca. There was a complimentary seafood sauce which I enjoyed and the main was cooked well, the mushroom sauce was particularly good and the staff were super friendly. Also try the empanada marisco and the abalone. Both delicious, expertly cooked and an...

The takeaway is that avoid the central market to eat. It's touristy, really overpriced, and very poor quality of food.

So this restaurant isn't different either.

The scallops were unclean with sand and the black intestine not cleaned. The ceviche was actually cooked and not raw. The Pisco was light.

Sorry, but I have had much better and cheaper food in fancier places in Santiago than...
