Bad experience: extremely poor service
Had one of the most frustrating experiences interacting with one waitress. My friend had ordered a meal to-go for me to pick up, but when it was time to collect the food, the waitress seemed to go out of her way to make the process difficult. Instead of simply handing me my order, she began questioning me in a condescending tone, as if I had done something wrong. She insisted on double-checking my receipt and even asked me to confirm my order multiple times, as though I was trying to take food that wasn’t mine. For the entire time, there was ONLY ONE takeout order to be pick up!!!!! I showed her the screenshot of the order already. What’s the fuss??? Her attitude was accusatory and unnecessary, making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
To make matters worse, the waitress seemed to be looking for reasons to deny me my takeout order. This level of mistrust and lack of professionalism was completely uncalled for and left a sour taste in my mouth—both literally and figuratively.
The food itself was mediocre at best, but it was the service that truly ruined the experience. A restaurant’s success isn’t just about the quality of the food; it’s also about how customers are treated. In this case, the waitress’s behavior was unacceptable and reflected poorly on the...
Read moreLong time no see my friend, we decided to find a resto to catch up. This resto was actually a result of miscommunication, but it turned out to be a nice one🤣. . She ordered Deluxe Meat Don, while I got Beef with Onion and Pepper Don.
Her Deluxe Meat Don included smoked chicken, pork and ox tongue, which satisfied three desires at once. I tried the ox tongue, which was nicely grilled and chewy.
My Beef with Onion and Pepper Don smelled aromatic. The poached egg on top prettified the dish, and the egg yolk blended in well with the rice and beef. The beef was juicy and tender, just the portion could be more generous. . Designed in Izakaya theme, the resto was more spacious and comfortable than a particular Izakaya, which allowed us to sit for a long time...

In particular, the portions are relatively small. The dining environment is good, but the double seat bench chairs (customers seating back to back) shared between 2 tables would be prone to having disturbance from 2 parties sharing the back of the seats, i.e. when the patron on the other side of the bench chair lean roughly to the back...
