The Federal Banquet Restaurant located in North Point, Hong Kong is a nice Chinese Cantonese restaurant that serves good decent food of quality.
I had the pleasure of having lunch and dinner here last week with my auntie Lok. The food here is nicely done and quite tasty, especially the roast quail during lunch. The dim sum dishes here are vast and plentiful.
For dinner, our friend Janet joined me, my mother and Auntie Lok. We had everything seafood that evening, and i must say, everything seafood was fresh and delicious. The lobsters were a little on the skinny side, but then, most lobsters in Hong Kong are. The prawns were big and tasty. The abalones was likewise. The roast pork was great, roasted just right with the right amount of fat. Thus, giving it the nice and moist texture, not dry and tough . The roast chicken was out of this world, but then , most of the roast chicken in Hong Kong are out of this world to me .
Both meals that day was exceptional to me, but then that could be because my auntie Lok knew 1 of the managers who catered to us.
