This used to be my go-to Japanese restaurant when I was living in HK. Although I no longer travel to Hong Kong on a frequent basis, but each time I visit HK, I go to OEDO. This time with my young kids. This restaurant serves authentic Japanese cuisine and it always have seasonal specials on offer. The great things about OEDO is the extensive menu. I visited a few times during my stay in HK, I tried their Omakase at the sushi counter, teppanyaki meals, set lunch (great value and quality) and a range of a la carte. My kids love their wide range of noodles selection, tonkatsu and Temaki sushi cones.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. They are very accommodating to our needs especially the kids.

Everything is so on point. We will have to wait till our next trip to dine in at OEDO again.

Highly recommended this place for all kinds of occasions from business dinner to date nights, especially for...

My quick trip to North Point brought me to this restaurant.

Beef Teppanyaki with veggies lunch set was so cheap at 170HKD. It came with rice, soup, fresh salad. Opted to add chocolate ice cream for 20HKD.

Was surprised by the quantity of the Beef Teppanyaki with veggies. It looked like a big ramen bowl. Miso has fresh tofu and some egg strips. Salad had arugula with fruit vinaigrette. Teppanyaki veggies were crunchy and fresh. Beef slices were enough.

Hubby had the Oedo lunch set which consisted of various seafood sashimi, beef Teppanyaki.

Hot Japanese tea was free flowing. Kenny (speaks Tagalog) and the other wait staff were warm and attentive. It did not feel like they want to you to finish quickly.

We will be back with my kids and try the 3-4/5-6people salmon Kamameshi which looked...

Having a family dinner at this Japanese nearby home, 5 minutes walking distance from North Point MTR. Overall pretty good quality of fish used in sashimi & sushi with a pretty high price tag in this neighborhood. We ordered a extra large plate of sashimi & a extra large plate of sushi. Very fresh fishes but not a lot of varieties, pretty standard selections. Chutoro handroll is good and so does the chutoro, ikura & Uni sushi. Grilled cod fish, mentaiko stuffed chicken wings, and grilled beef tongue are great too. Handmade ice cream as dessert and coconut ice cream...
