Egg tarts fresh out of the oven at HK$3 a piece (Dec2017 update: Price of my favorite "flaky crust" egg tart is now $3.50 albeit being slightly larger than before.)

Local tea time favorites such as cocktail buns or "pineapple" buns can also be had for $3 apiece, arguably the best price anywhere.

The smell of the bakery attracted us to the stall. Served a good variety of fresh baked cookies, egg tart and bread.

Got the coffee cookies, chocolate cookies and egg tarts and were great.

The egg tarts were smooth and crust was crispy. Went back for a 2nd helping before leaving Hong Kong.

great local bakery where you can find pretty much all the local favorites. the 老婆饼 is sooooo good. freshly made and so flaky and the stuffing is pretty generous too.

there are also other pastries such as chicken buns and pineapple buns. they rise the price very recently but understandable. the only criticism is that the older lady sits at the entrance is not very friendly, especially to mandarin speakers, she was yelling at me for some...
