A Delightful Taste of Hong Kong with a Relaxing Twist! Tourists must try!
I absolutely adore this place. It perfectly captures the delicious, smoky flavour of a traditional Hong Kong BBQ, but in a completely stress-free way. The best part? You can enjoy all the fantastic food without the hassle of setting up and managing a DIY grill yourself.
The seafood is particularly outstanding - incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff are wonderfully knowledgeable and honest with their recommendations, which clearly shows they take pride in their products.
The menu centres on Hong Kong-style BBQ and includes a touch of Japanese izakaya-style dishes as well. Don't miss their special congee, which is an absolute comfort food. Also try grilled fish maw, grilled eels, scallops, and razor clams. Save room for the unique ice creams. The sea salt, 3.5 milk, and tofu flavours are my personal favourites.
They also offer a great selection of alcohol, which pairs wonderfully with the rich BBQ food.
Finally, a special mention must go to the team. They are always so smiley and welcoming, making every visit a genuine pleasure. They even remember our preferences, which is a lovely touch.
All of this is offered at a reasonable price point. Highly recommended to all...
Read moreThis is most easily, the best place I have eaten in Hong Kong in my time here. It has the hustle and bustle of downtown Hong Kong, very friendly and helpful staff, and a menu packed with all kinds of authentic Chinese specialities and varieties. The ox tongue was unbelievably delicious, washed down with a fresh, cold and incredibly tasty 'Tsingtao beer', not to mention the beautifully smooth taste of the softshell crab salad, and the sharp succulent taste of the roasted aubergine topped with shredded shrimp. You would be a fool to be in the vacinity and not pay this venue a well deserved visit. I have added a 360 degree 'Google Cardboard' photo, so you can see and hear the warm inviting friendly atmosphere, from the pavement outside. Top marks from a Scotsman in...
Read moreCouldn’t find a place for dinner under typhoon no.8 so went into BBQ. Originally wanted to try their skewers but it drew me back after seeing they had already precooked a lot on top of the showcase.
The 辣酒花螺 sea snails in spicy wine was a cold dish. Spicy enough but it tasted more like spicy lo sui. The snails were cooked well and not shrunken. However, the 日式炸雞 Japanese style fried chicken was lousy. So dry and tough! The chicken skin was all burnt. So terrible that I’d rather stop eating and go home for instant noodles.
Also, most of the staff did not wear their masks properly and just put under their chins. I could understand most of the customers were repeat guests but this could not be an excuse to loosen up...
