Read moreThe food was quite good, however, the lunch set menu are not sets at all. We just got the main, and would have to pay extra to make it a set. That's not how any other lunch set menu works in Hong Kong. We expected at least a drink with the "set". To be honest, we felt quite cheated.
Even as we asked what the set soup was, and the waiter told us it was lobster bisque, in most places I've been they have offered me a substitute once I tell them I'm allergic.
4 stars for food.
1 star for utterly terrible service. On top of feeling cheated, the staff did not make us feel welcome. Not while ordering, nor while serving, or paying.
We won't patronise this place ever again, and I cannot recommend it at all, until they change their attitude...

Nicely surprised by a few dishes: saba (dashi jelly was the magic touch), amadai (skin perfectly crisped and the broth matched so well), lobster bisque, and both the wagyu and lamb racks were perfectly cooked with complementary sauces.
Unfortunately the restaurant is quite small and there was some unpleasant smell for the tables close to the entrance, so we had to change a few times to not be distracted by the smell.
