Coast Coffee — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Coast Coffee is located along Tin Hau Temple Road in the Tin Hau neighbourhood. They are open from 8am to 6pm (weekdays) and 8.30am to 6.30pm (weekends), offering a nice range of conventional coffee shop dishes they can prepare in the kitchen along with traditional coffee and non-coffee drinks.

I had late breakfast here recently, enjoying the avocado on toast that came with a bit of salad. Macchiato served on the day was fine as well. Prices are reasonable, service friendly and timely, environs simple and sufficient for a quick bite to eat and/or...

When we waited an hour for our simple pasta lunch, we followed up with the staff and the service was so horrible. They were condescending saying restaurants need to get to other people’s order first before ours. But we are thinking - so is every restaurant!!! Then they said they placed the wrong order and said they were so kind to not charge us for the wrong order!!!! So instead of apologising, they blame the customer which we had never experienced before. We will never go...

The staff wasn’t very welcoming starting from the beginning … even I said thank you to them when they placed my coffee on the table ( they didn’t even say a word when they put the item) , they just went away…. The coffee shop wasn’t even half full …The coffee n food was ok ( within standard, nth exceptional )but definitely won’t come back again with this kind of staff attitude and the price range… nearby got much better coffee n cheaper options...
