My family had eaten breakfast and lunch here before, as it is a few doors from our flat, and we always see the Michelin signs. Those meals were okay, though not very comfortable as the place was crowded and we had to share tables.
When some friends suggested having dinner here, we were quite keen as we had not tried their dinner menu. They do have an English menu, so do ask for that if needed.
We ordered several dishes, including pork rib with gourd soup, which had quite a rich broth. There was also a plate of steamed razor clams, which was very fresh, tofu with crispy pork, as well as their signature chicken dish. Our favourite dishes were actually braised eggplant in claypot and steamed pork patty, both of which went very well with rice.

The dinner is where the action is. I don't think any of the menus are in English and overseas guests will definitely need a bit of help navigating the many menu items. The best way is not bother and ask for recommendations. The book cuisine is not the super formal banquet dishes, but the nice everyday dishes really done well with considerable skills. Again, if you are not familiar with Cantonese cuisine then ideally you should go with someone who is. The prices are not low for such a dumpy looking place but you can pay a lot more elsewhere...
