B&L (Burger & Lobster) — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Avoid this restaurant & bar at all costs, even if it's the last one standing in Hong Kong.

Quality Issues: Our visit commenced at 10:30 p.m. with an order of Australian Sauvignon Blanc as post-dinner drinks. Shockingly, the waitress replaced our selection with a Chilean brand, asserting they were the same. Perhaps for her, all wines are indistinguishable. Unfortunately, the swapped wine lacked any discernible flavor.

Safety Concerns: We occupied a table designed for four. The edge of the table projected dangerously, tearing my recently acquired Italian down jacket. Fortunately, I escaped physical harm. (See the picture.)

Unprofessional Customer Service: The terrible experience continued when we were abruptly asked to relinquish our seat cushions due to the establishment closing at 11 p.m. We were not informed about the seat cushions upon our arrival.

When I reported the safety issue of the table to the waitress, she was unapologetic, simply stating, "it’s not my fault. Give me all your cushions as we are closing."

Been there at around 1pm, can only sit outdoor and we were fine coz we were too hungry. Unfortunately, we were asked to move to another outdoor seating right after we just settled down. It is requested by an Indian- look waiter, aged 50 or above. He just called us "Miss" loudly, with the gesture of assigning us to move to another table without giving us any explanation, given that there was lots of empty seats around us. During that time, we were thinking like "ok, why not? As long as we can order food".

Sadly, just a minute later, another Philippines or Indian- look waitress, aged 40 or above, asked us to move back to the first table coz there's a table of 7 waiting outside so they wanted to group our 2-pax table into a big one....then we asked why us again since there's still many empty seats. That waitress was so rude and accused us for not making reservations so we have to move...Ironically, the table of 7 also didn't make any reservation. Coz we were just 2 of us, and would spend less than the table of 7, so this restaurant can just fool around us? What a disgraceful and snobbish restaurant.

When I came to Wanchai area, always wanted to visit here and finally I came.

I think restaurants in Sun Hung Kai centre are always good choice because you can enjoy a meal outside. Thus Lunch is perfect when weather is really nice.

I tried lunch set this time. it was funny cuz there is no burger set for lunch. (see the restaurant title) anyway, I chose risotto and also good choice to enjoy. my friend ordered pasta but it was looking better than mine. —-

Price was reasonable.

Quality for food is not bad. but also not special to visit frequently.

Service from staff was also not bad.

In overall, acceptable to visit but not...
