(From my Yelp review, abandoned for Google Guides) Sometimes, you just want to go to a nice, clean restaurant. Sit at your personal booth, order your food and eat in peace without interruptions. This is the perfect place for that! Four stars! One for each of the things that do it for me, Service, ambience, food and "Will I come back?" Zero stars for the price. Expensive for a small selection and noodles. You get your own little booth, and your interactions with the service staff is MINIMAL. Though the times when you HAVE to, the service in this place is efficient and very polite. There is a tap right in your booth for your drinking water needs. A little label above the tap says "Try the delicious water". It is delicious. You order by circling what you want on a slip of paper. When you are ready to order, press a bell in your booth and a hand will magically appear to whisk the slip of paper away and prepare your order. It took barely 5 minutes for my noodles to appear. And it took barely 5 minutes to finish my ramen. Burp. Now, the ramen! The pork broth is thick and tasty. For some, the broth might feel a bit oily. However, for me, I found it just fine. The broth was on the slightly salty side and the drinking water tap in the booth served its purpose well. I like my noodles not too mushy, so I circled "firm" on my order slip. The noodles I received was perfect, not soft nor hard. Chewy with just the right texture. I also ordered an egg to go with my noodles. Came in a separate bowl and was chilled. When I bit into it, the yolk was still runny. Yum. Cost: Basic ramen in pork broth - HK$89 Extra half portion of ramen - HK$16 Egg HK$14 Mushroom topping HK$22 Seaweed HK$12 I grabbed some instant ramen packets to bring home too. Pork broth and ramen (3 servings) HK$240 Soy and citrus sauce and ramen (5 servings) HK160 Pork broth and ramen (5 servings) HK$160 Overall, a very pleasant experience. I have come back a few more times after this. It is pricey for ramen, but for the anti-social diner, this is a small price to pay.

Eating Ichiran at 6:30pm on weekday night, we can enter directly without long queues. There’s only one type of ramen: Natural Tonkotsu Ramen 🍜 ($98) The char siu (roast pork) is thin and tender, without many other toppings. The portion of noodles is also quite small. Only that the soup is very delicious. 😋 🐻 also ordered one Semi-Soft Salted Egg 🥚 ($18). The egg has the salty taste and a runny yolk, but is rather expensive. 🤔 In fact, Ichiran's greatest advantage lies in the small details within the restaurant (such as the specially designed spoon that can rest securely on the ramen bowl) and the "private booth" experience. You can order and pay using a QR code, and the food is served without having to have eye contact with the staffs. It's actually quite comfortable to dine without having to say anything. 🤣 However... even with this "private" experience, there is still a service charge added to the bill. What do you think of this service charge? 🤔 🐻❄️: Actually, there are still staff members providing service behind the scenes (such as guiding to the seats), but when most of it is self-service (🐻: even the egg comes with the shell... 🥹), should they bill this "service charge"? It's worth discussing. To conclude, both 🐻 and 🐻❄️ feel that there are better ramen options available for the same price. —————————— 🐻🐻❄️ have an Cantonese Instagram @bear.couple.food. 歡迎香港人睇吓🐻🐻❄️情侶點評價呢啲餐廳(廣東話架😝),食評Instagram @bear.couple.food

Well, I couldn’t sleep so I went to this place at 4am and there were people shouting, screaming & swearing... not surprised after a sat night out... but I just want food... The staff asked me to stay outside to wait and 5 mins later I got in but had to wait inside the waiting area, and those drunken people were still 🤬... I got sat down within a min as I was by myself but there were quite a lot of people waiting. I ordered the normal noodle the way I like, you can choose what you want to have more or less from the order sheet. When the noodle arrived it doesn’t taste like the one I had in japan... little disappointed, but even more disappointed was the pork......... NOTHING like the one in Japan 😭 and it has a bad pork smell if you know what I mean. I love almond tofu so I ordered the Matcha Almond Pudding w/Green Tea Sauce........ and again very disappointed, not much of almond taste and the green tea flavour not too distinct either. Overall it was okay... but the for price $89 + $49 I don’t think it was worth it especially the dessert.

Last time when I had this it was way before 2018 and there was a queue virtually 24/7. This time I arrived at 0100hrs and can just walk right in with plenty of booths available Now is a scan QR code self-service order via your mobile. Frankly, the experience is underwhelming. System doesn’t say if your order has been sent or received and you have to pay upfront before the order is sent. And if you choose cash payment for obvious security concerns, you have to press octopus and make your way to the cashier, queue then pay cash Guess what? With so much self service manoeuvring, this eatery still have the cheek to charge you 10% service charge!!!! Hello!?!!! Thankfully, the food did not disappoint

i have tried some Japanese Ramen most of them are not good. other Ramen soup is too salty, I need to drink a lot of water everytime I finished the Ramen but this one, ICHIRAN, it is the best one so far I ever tried. the soup is moderate, not too salty, and very fresh. I like it. for the noodle, I like the texture which is a little bit harder. This one is fair and not too soft and not too hard. I like it. btw, the amount is too less. For the serving, as like local Japanese restaurants. the attitude is very polite, and considerate. I like every minor steps they take. for example, they will remind you how to order, how to add the membership point. highly recommend I think retry it

Ramen restaurant where you are seated in an individual booth. There was a short wait during lunch time (about 10 minutes wait on a weekday). You tick what you want on the ordering sheet and can add extras such as egg, seaweed, mushrooms. You can also customise your ramen and broth. Once you're ready to order, press the button and someone will take your order. The ramen is served quickly (less than a 10 minute wait). The noodles and broth was lovely! After the food, you take your order sheet and pay at the cashier at the front. They also sell ramen that you can make at home, which is quite a bit pricier than your typical supermarket ramen (approximately HKD 200 for a pack of 4).
