The food is not as good as I remember it used to be when I lived in Hong Kong. Overcooked noodles. The overall experience/atmosphere well represented Hong Kong cha chan tang (tea restaurant). You walk in, do not expect anyone to greet you, search for a seat by yourself, read the menu on the table, summon the waiter/ess, place your order, and when you are done eating, take the little white receipt to the counter at the entrance, pay and leave. Don’t complaint if no one greeted you. Don’t whine about the lack of smiles. It’s essentially fast food, and self service. 4 stars for service - I didn’t get the experience, but I observed some waitresses were very polite. They greeted customers, “how many people?” They thanked the customers when they departed. I consider that a bonus, not a given.

I went here because I saw an Instagram vlogger feature this place. Its a traditional hong kong cafe and servers can speak a little English which was convenient We ordered the condensed milk + peanut butter toast, its the best of its kind that we've tried. It has the perfect ratio of condensed milk, peanut butter and was perfectly toasted. I think they make their own breads And we also ordered their noodles with mid-joint chicken wings. The chicken wings were so juicy and had a nice soy/teriyaki glaze on them. The noodles tasted ordinary, like the instant noodle kind so wouldn't recommend that. The toast, I recommend though! PS If this review was helpful to you in any way, please "like/thumbs up" 👍🏻 so it may help other people as well, thank you in advance! :)

Hong Kong style café for quick and tasty breakfast/lunch. Long line moved quickly and since I was there solo I was pulled out of the crowd to fill am empty seat with another group. Per online recommendations i knew what I wanted to order, scrambled eggs and milk tea. The friendly servers spoke English and there may have been an English menu but since it was crowded and everything was moving so quickly i just ordered without the menu. The scrambled eggs were delicious as was the milk tea. The set menu includes macaroni soup with ham but it did not appeal to me even though it looked to be a very popular favorite. I would recommend to try it as an example of café style lunch or for a quick bite while in the area.

Simple and tasty breakfast. I kept it simple with a luncheon meat and egg sandwich with a ice milk tea. Fluffy eggs and bread makes it satisfying! Locals went for the breakfast set that includes macaroni with ham, fried eggs and tea/coffee for $40. You won’t easily find the English name but just go where the crowd is. Manageable crowd with friendly, HK-style, staff. Tip: in HK cafes like this, always ask to be seated and sit where they ask you to. It will be tight and usually sharing tables but that’s the local experience. Don’t wait for someone to ask your order just shout out to a staff when you are ready.

If you get anything, it's gotta be the truffle scrambled eggs. They're amazingly good, so much so, we came back for seconds. As for the rest of their breakfast dishes, we weren't overly impressed... their macaroni and ham is a Hong Kong staple, but it's weird... Macaroni noodles with slices of ham on it, all sitting in a chicken broth... I really don't get it. But you gotta try it for yourself. We also got their toasted bun with butter and condensed milk on it. That's another HK locals dish. Give it a try. I don't really even remember it, so it obviously wasn't that great.
