Lungo — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

A very popular coffee & bagel cafe and their Wanchai branch is always packed with people throughout the day.

I am here in the morning to beat the crowd so it’s nice sitting by the big window looking out to the main street. The environment is decorated with their very own LUNGO characteristic, it’s a bit whimsical blended with a touch of nostalgic old HK.

I order the espresso on ice, as usual. It’s a blend of brazil and colombia. All I can say is that it’s not my cup of joe. There is a strong burnt aftertaste and it’s just too roasty for me. I am sure they serve good coffee but just not this blend/cup.

One of the best coffee places in HK if you like hand drip coffee. I find their hand drip coffee unique and actually living up to their notes. They serve up pretty good bagels as well.
