Royal's Pub — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Empty bar, food took 45 minutes to arrive and the kicker is that it's not even the correct dish!!! I'm not interested in your excuses of being "busy". There is literally no one in your pub and you can't serve 6 hungry people in a proper time?

We ordered the scallops and prawns risotto truffle and out came spaghetti.

This is no where near what I'd expect from a respected establishment.

Secondly, we ordered martini cocktails and they were awfully mixed, too strong with no flavor.

The ceiling was dripping with water, we all got wet waiting for food that never arrived.

The only saving factor was that it has wifi, which I'm using to write this review, over my imaginary...

Average but what stands out are 1. Tiny bowl of crackers chargeable at 20 HKD each (i spent 330+ on my first day thus expecting them to be free)

Beer costs 94 a pint yet minimum spend of 100 required for credit card payment on my 2nd day (beer more expensive than bars in LKF/Soho yet the latter doesn't have this restriction). Even the hole in the wall Viet Restaurant accepted Cc payment with 57 hkd spend.

Exactly what I was looking for, a place to sit at the bar, sip over a delicious imported beer, regular music and good ambient. The waitresses are nice and you don't feel rushed. They have good dinner options for just 80HKD but I had already ate so I don't know about the quality. Beer goes from 50-80, snacks 40-70 and main dishes from 70-130.
