🇭🇰 Causeway Bay 銅鑼灣|Seoul Noodles
Speaking of Korean 🇰🇷 food, this place is always at the top of the list! From their appetisers, to their signature dumplings 🥟 and main dishes, all of them are unforgettable once you give them a try! I, for one, would love to come back to enjoy more of their dishes! 😍 This time, I tried their 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐰𝐨 + 𝟏 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 set, which is great for 2 people!
Started off with some appetizing kimchi and rice bowls. They may only have ordinary ingredients, like kimchi, seaweed, gochujang and sesame oil, but when they are mixed with the barley rice, 🍚 the flavour is out of this world! This definitely starts up my stomach for what's to come next!
•𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞 The pork bone is huge! With it submerged in the broth, the noodle 🍜 can carry all the savory flavour into your mouth with ease! The toppings are also complementing the noodles well, with each of them bringing a unique flavour to the entire bowl!
•𝐍𝐚𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐦𝐲𝐞𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞) As for the cold noodle broth, this is the best that I have tried by far! Not only is it appetizing, it also has a hint of sweetness inside, a flavour that I have never tried anywhere else! 🥹 I especially love the egg strip that not only serves as a flavour enhancer but also gives a more stuffy texture to every bite!
•𝐊𝐢𝐦𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 The kimchi flavour is so rich in this one, and to be honest, it can already carry the entire dumplings 🥟 without even needing the dip! I would come back again just for...

Like other restaurants of this group, their staff were all Korean guys so it gives a more authentic feel than some other Korean restaurants in Causeway Bay (those staff were either local or South East Asian).
I dined on my own and was seated at the counter table along its window front. I was quite uncomfortable while eating because I was overlooked by the people in the line outside who constantly peeked at my food and even pointing. There was another counter table facing their kitchen which would be interesting to look at.
I ordered the noodle combo (chicken noodles and mini kimbap). The portion size was generous, with half a chicken and plenty of noodles.
Chicken noodles were good. The soup was a bit watery to my taste but flavourful. Chicken was bland but was helped by the kimchi, pickled radishes, and sauce. I especially loved the leek which they gave plenty. Noodles were chewy in a good sense.
It was a bit awkward to eat the chicken, pulling the meat from the bone and trying not to splash the soup. It would be better if they had scissors or a separate dish to eat the chicken from.
The mini kimbap was a little too oily for me, but I liked the crunchy filling.
Overall this place is...
Read moreI was looking for something to eat on a Sunday evening around 20:30 after being out all day. I googled a few things in the Causeway Bay area. This came up and looked good. I came and glad I did. I walked straight in and got a window seat along a shared long communal table, mainly for solo diners like me or small parties. Friendly staff and good service. Efficient. Clean. I was limited with choice being Muslim so I went with the clams noodle. The have combo options too. So good! Huge portion and came with other side dishes. Very generous. Food comes out quickly but it was freshly made, nicely presented and piping hot. Perfect for a chilly winter evening. I couldn't finish it all but did well! Divine and much needed. Very reasonably priced as well. Complimentary WIFI. Busy with a nice atmosphere. When you have finished eating, you need to pay at the till...
