I was recommended this restaurant as a solid place for Hong Kong style western food.
The cheese fish fillet baked rice and ox tongue spaghetti was very disappointing. When it came out, the plate was piping hot but the food was already lukewarm and mushy. The cheese and fish fillets were flavourless.
The spaghetti sauce was flavourless and the texture of the noodles were mediocre. The Ox tongue had a rubbery texture and was bland.
The worst part of the experience was the service. I understand servers in Hong Kong tend to be a bit rougher around the edges, but there is still a certain standard which is to be met. The staff here were just plain rude and dismissive.
The place is inexpensive as both dishes in a lunch set cost $70 HKD and came with soup...
Read moreUnfortunately, the quality had gone downhill. The soup and steak is quite bland and flavorless. I ordered New Zealand Ribeye... but it tasted like some cheap meat with no taste. I think they used way too much tenderizer, so it is without a steak's texture. They also don't give bread anymore to meals other than iron plates.
