Fortress Kitchen — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

we have been wanting to come to this restaurant for a while. they have relocated to a new location within the same area and now also expanding to causeway bay! today, we decided to go to the outlet in north point restaurant.

we ordered a few dishes, mostly their signatures: apple bun with cheese and minced meat, egg rice with roasted pork and swiss chicken wings. The signature rice dish was so delicious and the portion was so huge - enough for two people. The bun itself is creative and also bigger than we thought it would be. cheese melted with the meat which made it extra juicy! lastly, the chicken wings portion was so fulfilling and the sweet soy souce soaked into the each wings perfectly.

i will come back for sure to try their other signature dishes! highly...

Fortress Kitchen has both a bakery window for takeaway (left side of photo) and sit-down restaurant (right). Sept 2023: This is for the bakery side only-- chicken pot pie and egg tart are delicious. One of two places in North Point that sells the tarts. June 2024: the restaurant dining room is extremely popular during every meal time, though we were lucky to have a booth to ourselves. I had the American style steak (boneless) with scrambled eggs and garden salad with sesame oil, lemon ice tea, Mom had sweet and sour pork with rice, milk tea. Dining room AC did not work so...

It's like a sitting in furnace box. While eating I'm sweating like a baby pig running for 800 meters. The beef noodle was soggy but taste good. Look at circle price with different menu for the same dish it was really wired. The vegetable noodle was firm and tasty. The toilet was awfully dirty. One toilet for women and I Q up after 2 staffs went in and out. Why don't they have staffs toilet? We arrived before 14:00 hrs. Q up for several minutes before got the table.
