A well hidden local gem serving all the best traditional Cantonese desserts. Long lines snaking out the door speak for themselves. The shop is pretty small so don't expect to get seating without waiting, however, takeaway and eating nearby is a good option too.
Service and decor are all in keeping with an old local favourite; no real issues. The desserts are authentic and flavorsome. Highly recommend trying if you like Chinese desserts.
Black sesame soup: SS, 9/10. First time having one so simple. Clearly nothing extra added to thicken it up, just pure sesame goodness.
Tang yuan: SS, 9/10. Soft, pillowy and with just the right amount of sweet filling.
Ginger soup: S+, 8.5/10. A bit of an acquired taste but sweet enough to be enjoyable
Mango sago: SS, 9/10. A little thin but flavours are all there. Not too thick either
Sticky rice, mango and coconut milk: S+, 8.5/10. Rice was just the right amount of chewy and coconut milk was also creamy but not overly sweet. Rice was a bit dry at times due...

And when I sank my teeth into that dumpling ball – BAM! Black sesame explosion that's basically a mouth party! 🎉
