A well hidden local gem serving all the best traditional Cantonese desserts. Long lines snaking out the door speak for themselves. The shop is pretty small so don't expect to get seating without waiting, however, takeaway and eating nearby is a good option too.

Service and decor are all in keeping with an old local favourite; no real issues. The desserts are authentic and flavorsome. Highly recommend trying if you like Chinese desserts.

Black sesame soup: SS, 9/10. First time having one so simple. Clearly nothing extra added to thicken it up, just pure sesame goodness.

Tang yuan: SS, 9/10. Soft, pillowy and with just the right amount of sweet filling.

Ginger soup: S+, 8.5/10. A bit of an acquired taste but sweet enough to be enjoyable

Mango sago: SS, 9/10. A little thin but flavours are all there. Not too thick either

Sticky rice, mango and coconut milk: S+, 8.5/10. Rice was just the right amount of chewy and coconut milk was also creamy but not overly sweet. Rice was a bit dry at times due...

Behold the Dumpling Ball Extravaganza, a Hong Kong must-devour delight! 🥢(even though it gives off serious doppelgänger vibes), but @palatism assured me this one's a winner. 🙌 I braced myself for sweetness, but nope, the soup is all about that throat-warming, tongue-dancing heat. And when I sank my teeth into that dumpling ball – BAM! Black sesame explosion that's basically a mouth party! 🎉

Sander said – this place is like a dumpling institution. Come Chinese New Year, people flock here for the dumpling balls, symbolic of prosperity thanks to their rounded shape. It was packed, and I can't recall the name, but hey, it's a mere 600m from the noodle nirvana spot. Get your dumpling...

This is a tiny shop that serves traditional Chinese sweet soups. The rice dumplings are really famous and i love the sesame flavor so much! Very good strong taste, soft and even. To double up the enjoyment, i always pick the sesame sweet soup to go with. Just $32 to enjoy the very rich and greedy sesame fun! There are only a few seats but i was lucky to have one. And since it was nearly mid autumn festival so the ladies were really busy for making the rice dumplings! They did it so quickly and all round balls were very consistent! Very amazed with their skill! Lots of people came and bought the raw rice dumplings, they were buying 5 packs 9 packs or...
