Great food, horrible service. Make your reservation with OpenRice.com to get a complimentary glass of red or White House wine. Let’s start with the delicious food. The photos speak for itself. Raw oysters quality is top notch. Baked oysters with cheese were delicious. Seafood stew was amazing with the bisque ( 1 full lobster with mania clams, mussels, squid ). Soft shell crab was fried to the perfect balance of crispy outside, tender inside. Fried calamari was lightly breaded with lots of tentacles ( Yum!). The prices are reasonable and not over priced compare to many other seafood restaurants.
Service: the servers were clueless and their general manager really Need to up their game on training the staffs. The kitchen staffs kept on spotting our needs while the waiters were dosing off on the dinning floor. ( the restaurant only had 8-10 tables and it was 35% full at 20 guests max when we were dinning). Our oysters arrived before the hot plates. We had to asked multiple time for change of plates share plates and even utensils. Most importantly, we ordered the lovely seafood stew and the lobster claws were in its original form and claw crackers were only offered upon request( have your staff eaten lobster at the establishment before?) and whatever tool arrived was so flimsy that looked like it belonged to the dollar store that the tool would break before the slippery bisque covered lobster claw. We sent the lobster back to the kitchen twice for them to break that stuff properly so we could enjoy our food. I would never come back and would not recommend as there are way too many better seafood options...
Read moreA very good seafood bar from Seattle, which also have its own shellfish farms in Puget Sound area. You can find up to 30 types of oysters here, including their signature NW Pacific oysters as well as other French species. The Manila claims and mussels are also very nice.
The variety of food is far more than any branches in Seattle, even with great variety choices of hot dishes.
The only missing stars go to the small proportion of hot food especially pasta and rice. Quite disappointing for...
Read moreFound out about this place through a food expo and decided to try it out. One of the major importers of oysters in Hong Kong and the supplier for one of Hong Kong's high end supermarket/department store AEON, we were excited to try out its 20+ choices in shellfish. Still liked the French Bellon the most (even though it is rather pricey). The underlying sulphuric taste immediately took us back to an oyster tasting session in...
