Visiting The Grand Buffet revolving restaurant in Hong Kong was an extraordinary culinary experience that combined stunning panoramic views with an impressive array of international cuisine. Located on the 62nd floor of the iconic Hopewell Centre in Wan Chai, the restaurant offers a 360-degree view of the city’s skyline, Victoria Harbour, and the surrounding mountains, all while you dine in comfort and style. As I entered The Grand Buffet, I was immediately struck by the elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. The large windows provided breathtaking views, which slowly changed as the restaurant gently revolved, allowing me to take in the full beauty of Hong Kong from every angle without leaving my seat. The rotation is subtle, taking about two hours to complete a full circle, giving plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and savor the food. The buffet itself was a feast for the senses, offering a vast selection of dishes from around the world. I started with fresh seafood, including succulent oysters, prawns, and sushi, all prepared with the highest quality ingredients. Moving on, I sampled a variety of international cuisines, from Italian pasta and pizza to Indian curries and Chinese dim sum. The live cooking stations added an interactive element, where chefs skillfully prepared dishes to order, such as grilled meats and noodles. One of the highlights was the dessert section, which featured a wide array of pastries, cakes, and a chocolate fountain, alongside traditional Asian sweets. The combination of delicious food and the revolving view made the dining experience feel both luxurious and unique. As I enjoyed my meal, the restaurant's gentle rotation provided a constantly changing backdrop, making every moment feel special. Watching the transition from day to night was particularly magical, as the city lights gradually illuminated the skyline, reflecting off the harbor and creating a glittering spectacle below. The Grand Buffet is not just a place to eat, but a destination where the ambiance, view, and cuisine come together to create a memorable dining experience. Whether for a special occasion or simply to enjoy Hong Kong from a unique perspective, dining at The Grand Buffet is an experience that lingers long after the meal is over.

Service and food were excellant and the views were great. Booked in for a night time meal and very much enjoyed it, buffet stlye with a very large variety(seriously I tried so many differnt foods I could not even begin to list them) ranging from great deserts, to cheese, sushi, roasted meats, lobster, abalone and sooo much more,We left very full. The restaurant revolves giving you view of the surronding city from the 62nd floor. The Staff were Very attentive clearing plates away quickly and refilling water and tea promptly. All up a very enjoyable experience. In my opinion the price was justified. My advice explorer the floor thoroughly as there is a lot of food to offer but is spread around, and dont ignore the rooms in the middle as there is some very nice food in there(I think another reviewer mentioned this, thanks for the too). Also if you want a window seat think you need to book in advance but we did go on new year so probably would have been extra busy. Oh and make sure you take the express observation lift up very nice. Thanks for a Grand experience.

A friend celebrated her birthday and treated us to this sumptuous buffet in HK. A revolving buffet restaurant in Wan Chai. Spread is vast. Food in display looks appetizing. They have a seqfood corner with clams, mussels, snails, and of course the snow crab claw. A tip: have it grilled since it isn't really fresh. These are frozen. The thawed water dripped all over...so it lessened the excitement. This was my first rodeo with this type of crab, so i was a bit disappointed. Other than that, everything was magnificent. Their siomai is one of the best siomai I ever had. But each person can only get 2 per round. Hakaw was great, too, but im partial to the siomai. So be prepared to constantly fall in line for this. While you're on that part of the food lane, get some duck as they are good. Beef carving station is my next go-to. Cooked perfectly and generously served. I dont exactly know how much the buffet was, but im guessing it cost a pretty penny. To the celebrant...happy birthday and many thanks to this fan experience.

The Grand Buffet is a nice place for visitors, their food is just average, but the overall experience is nice. Although it's a bit sad with their food. Visited the restaurant on weekends for dinner, before your visit, you need to take their observation lifts to 56/F, then change another lift to 62/F. The lift is great, excellent view of the Victoria Harbour, and it only takes you 20 seconds. This is the only revolving restaurant in Hong Kong, and it took you 66 mins for a round trip. It's nice for visitors, as you can simply sit there to enjoy both the view and food. However due to their uneven speed, you may suffer from "seasick" in the beginning. For their food, actually it's great, but the choice is limited. As the last customer on that day, I see they just threw away all the good food into the trash, it's said and hopefully better recycling of their food. As the restaurant is quite noisy, it's not a good place for romantic dinner

I came here 14 years ago and it was and still is the only buffet to make me cry because I was too full but wanted to eat more. We didn't have dinner plans so suggest this place when returning to Hong Kong. Yes it's gimmicky that its a rotating restaurant on the top of a skyscraper, but its fantastic views! We went at 8:30pm on a Saturday and we were able to walk in without a reservation for 2 people. Otherwise it was pretty full. It's 850 HKD per person so definitely not cheap-and I'm not sure it's worth that much. The food options are plentiful and there is some really stand out stuff. The sashimi station was my absolute favourite and I went back twice. There is food from all around the world but I would stick to the East Asian food which we found the best. I enjoyed this place for the nostalgia, but probably wouldn't visit again as I think it's too expensive.

Facing the upcoming economic downturn, various gourmet delights at this unique revolving restaurant may beef up part of my spirit to cope with the challenge before the next belt-tightening moment comes. The glamorous rotating view also feasting our eyes on the beauty of the skyscrapers. This buffet restaurant is the one “healing” us with the large variety of mouth-watering sashimi, desserts and roasted food. Recommend its dim sum, cheese platter and seasonal desserts. Its crab disappoint me as its meat smells strange. As this restaurant located on the 62/F of the 80’s building, you need to go to their 53/F waiting lobby first and wait for the transfer, remember to spare some time if you want to begin your buffet session on time.
