A small restaurant in HK, The Oyster House. Choose by my wife for her birthday lunch (no dine service due to COVID-19). Overall above average and this restaurant can eat next time. Started with the bread and vinegar with olive oil. The bread is still hot pair with their vinegar and olive oil is okay. The Oysters are excellent. They are very fresh. We ate the France Oyster first. The waitress asked if we want more when collecting the dish. They we ordered South Africa Oyster. Both types oysters are good! The 2 appetizers, The Sea Urchin pair with red shrimp and the crab cake are okay. The sea urchin pair with the red shrimp taste is fine but the shrimp is not fresh enough. The crab cake is a bit hard on outside and the crab taste is not enough. But good for pairing with wine. My wife ordered the Oyster Bisque. I do not like the taste.... But my wife loves it. The 2 main dishes, the ribeye and pork chop, both cooked very nice. I ordered medium rare on the steak and it cooks beautifully. The pork is a little bit dry but with a little bit fats around the chop, it is okay. Both dishes paired with some smashed potatoes and vegetables with mushrooms. It is good. For desert, we ordered Banoffee pie. It taste really good and hope I can replicate it at home. Overall, worth to try restaurant. Definitely will go there again.

1 bad move ruined the whole experience. My sister picked this resturant tonight to celebrate my birthday. Oysters are fresh, the food is great, staff was amazing, and happy to give recommendations and attentive. The dining experience was superb, we ask for the check, out of a sudden one of the staff (she didnt show up until late during our dining period) poked me twice with her hand/ a tab while she was on the phone trying to ask me if the phone she was holding belongs to me. (I wasn't the one to get the check, didn't even talk to her before, not to mention what phone she was holding) I mean she can totally just ask me politely but not poking me in the first place. I found it very rude and she actually did it 2 times. It was totally inappropriate. I will never come again for such behavior. Too bad 1 bad staff can totally ruin a good reputation.

Their pricing was very confusing. Please be really careful. When we called they said they have $99 for the seafood platter, but when we were already seated, they said that this price is for 2 people, and maximum 1 order every 2 people. Afterwards we were asked to pay $199 per order. Then they have a discount on the oysters if we order a bottle of wine, but they insisted that we had to order 2 bottles to avail this discount - which was not indicated on their promotion. Food portion was small and the taste was so so, not worth the price. I can easily find better quality and bigger portion of food at the same price near the area. Also, we had to ask several times what we want/need. The ambiance was okay. It's was not too bad. Overall, I and my friends will not go back to this restaurant.

I came here for the Oysters and I was amazed with the quality. Really good cosy restaurant that serve very good Oyster! Staffs are very friendly, knowledgeable and great. Know their Oysters well. Must try the clams in white wine sauce! Excellent! Please make sure you either cone early or make reservations. Came back here again after a while... just as good. Oyster was amazingly good and fresh! Crab cake was delicious and my favourite white wine clams! Must try! Enjoy. So good to be back. They moved to a new place. So much better and alot more cosy and spacious! You will love it. Ordered my favourite.. the clams are so much larger than previously, Oysters are so fresh as usual and crab cakes are just as amazing.... it was.awesome to be back.

Now I know why there are so many negative comments. This is probably the worse place for oysters. The caesar salad is like $120 and the size is like a 5”side dish. I think a hotel at the same price can do better than that. Baked oysters… i thought I was only eating baked bacons… where were the oysters??? Crab cakes was the only food with a passing grade. They were like a ping pong ball size, thick shell, minimal crab meat inside. We got a sofa seat luckily, it is spacious for two people, but if more than that, u won’t have room to put 3 glasses, 3 dining plates.. let alone the serving food. Without ordering wine (byob) or live oysters, cost $900 for two, left hungry.

One of the best place for oyster lovers in Hong Kong. Very intimate restaurant and it gets very crowded during the weekends. Seating can therefore be a little tight and it can get quite loud. Great international selection of oysters from Europe, US and Japan. Fresh and served with lemon and Tabasco. Very reasonably priced and is often the highlight of the meal. Various mains from ribeye steaks, chicken, pork chop etc. generally served with mash and vegetables. Wine selection is not the largest but serves it's purpose. One might be able to negotiate for BYO with early arrangement. Lovely place and it's our regular go to place for an oyster fix.
