The food was delicious and the ingredients seemed high-quality. However, I was disappointed by the greenwashing, which doesn't align with the company's image or impression. From the receipt, tray liners, and plastic cups, everything was covered with various messages encouraging sustainable choices like "one with nature" and so on. The trash bins had two separate containers, one for recyclable waste and one for non-recyclable waste. I pondered for a while on how to sort my waste correctly, only to realize it didn't matter at all when the trash collector came and dumped all the trash into the same bin... It made my individual efforts feel pointless, leaving the impression that this was just another tactic to lure consumers into believing they were eating and consuming responsibly and environmentally friendly. I am not commenting on other aspects of sustainability, as this was the only issue I noticed firsthand. I was making my own bowl there using different vegetarian ingredients. It was really interesting experience! And my bowl was so delicious and healthy :) Together with bowl I tried pumpkin soup, kombucha and one more drink. Everything was tasty.
I liked the concept and philosophy of the restaurant because they help to grow trees for combo orders, so at the same time if you order it, you help to grow a new tree, that’s an amazing idea for our world!
As I know they have several spots in Hong Kong so people from different locations can try this great food. It’s convenient for everyone because even super busy people can get meal to go or order online. There was a machine for self orders even.
