PizzaExpress (Causeway Bay) — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Went on a Thursday evening with a reservation in hand and I don't know whether they were short on staff or if it's always like this, but it was mayhem and not like the usual positive experience we had at other branches. We waited 15 minutes to be seated despite the reservation. It took over 45 minutes to get one pizza for myself, an hour to get the pizza for my spouse so one of us ate while the other one watched. We had to ask staff many times where our food was. Eventually, we were told my spouse's pizza got burnt so they had to remake it, okay but why every other table was served way before us including several who sat down way after us. Also every other table was given the standard tap water service regardless of them having drinks, but it was not offered to us. No apology or discount was even offered for the long wait and inconvenience. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and very underwhelming as well because as a PE club member I had deciced to come for a pre-birthday celebration and I left quite underwhelmed.
