Had dinner at West Villa. Ordered their soup of the day, roast pigeon, pork ribs and claypot crab meat with brinjal. Food was delicious. I don’t feel thirsty the following day. An authentic place that serves traditional cuisine. The roast pigeon was the best I have tried so far. As the pigeon is small, it’s not easy to roast it well enough to not have any sides burnt. The pork was tasty and each pieces has some soft bone to It. It was well seasoned so don’t need a lot of sauce to go with it. We thought it was too big a portion for 2 of us but finished the whole plate nevertheless. Something was amiss for the claypot brinjal with crab meat. Maybe it was the last dish that was served so it pale in comparison to the earlier dishes. Overall a pleasant experience. Will definitely come back for the roast pigeon soon.

Worst yum cha experience I had in Hong Kong. Ordered 6 different dim sim, has been waiting for 20 minutes until the first dim sim was served. The manager was saying it is normal and doesnt care at all. It took 1 full hour until all dim sim were served. The tea pot was left empty with the lid opened on the table waiting to refill. 3 different waitress walked passed and all ignored it until ask to do so. The dim sim came with completely over cooked. I don't think this restaurant worth as price by the food wise and service wise.

Terrible service! 冇同情心. 有小朋友最好唔好去. Not kids friendly. I was holding a 2 years old kid to try to get a table (on weekday morning), they first ignored me while I was waiting at the entrance. When one of the staff finally came and asked me how many people I had got. I said two. She then went around to check and told me there were no table. BUT I could see LOTS OF tables around with NO customers!! I told her I will leave within 30 mins. Just need to quickly feed my kid. She insisted “there is no table”.

4/5 Old Chinese restaurant still popular now for a recent, their food is good. Fish paste stuff eggplant, I usually don’t like this type of fish, but this paste is good! Fish pot, crispy outside, tender juicy fish, flavour all cook into the Center, not greasy at all, even the ginger and scallion is good cos the wok fried . Pigeon little dry n not marinaded enough. Soup dumplings not bad. The pomelo skin is good as well. The soup is a must try here!

This is one of the decent Chinese restaurants in the Tai Koo Shing commercial complex. The inside is well set & decorated with a neat & tidy environment. There were also wide variety of choices of chinese dishes, desert, wine etc served by attentive staff. We went there at Valentine's Day, where all seats were occupied. We ordered various dishes which were in good qualities and you won't be disappoited.
