玥屋 — Restaurant in Hong Kong

OK I don't usually write reviews unless it's pretty extream of either ends, but this tiny sushi bar here deserves to be known!

Don't be fooled by its so-so appearance, the lack of space or the low price (which tends to be a warning sign, especially for sushi).

The seafoods are fresh and of high quality. They are of generous size, placed on top of a small-ish hand-pressed pieces of rice (chain-stores uses machines nowadays and they try to fill u up with large pieces of rice to compensate for the price and small pieces of seafood on top).

Seriously, as soon as I put the sushi in my mouth, I had a million questions in my mind! This price? This portion?? This quality?? How do they sustain??

The price is super down-to-earth, I remember it only cost me $22 for 2pcs of uni sushi but the quality is still surprisingly nice! You can't find any sushi restaurant in HK in this price with this quality. Though you need to book for a seat and long waiting, the food and price are just undefeatable‘!
