Rich Cow is a new hotpot restaurant in Wanchai, Hong Kong. Online reservation is straightforward. The main dining room is bright and well-ventilated. Most of the servers are friendly and accommodating. While food is not cheap, the quality is rather inconsistent. The thickness and texture of three separate orders of the Hanging Tender are very different. Surprisingly, the most thinly sliced plate (free of charge with coupon) tastes best, but the most thickly sliced plate (HK$ 348/M) still has a frozen smell. Highly recommend the crispy Freshly Deep-Fried Fish Skin (HK$ 78), the aromatic and crunchy Beef Brisket Deckle (HK$ 88), the succulent Hiroshima Oyster (Sashimi Grade; HK$ 128), and the bouncy Teochew Beef Ball (HK$ 78).
