Intentionally visited this resto in Sai Ying Pun, which I had bookmarked since my time at HKU (and it has moved to a new location already LOL), with my family for lunch over the weekend. . My sis ordered White Clams in Udon with Yuzu & Pepper. The broth had an intense pepper flavour and the yuzu flavour was noticeable. The udon was quite chewy. There were a lot of white clams, more than 20 pieces! It's just like the story of five loaves and two fish🤣. They were fresh and savoury.
I ordered Roast Ox Tongue Rice. The ox tongue had a rather soft texture and tasted a bit plain to me. It seemed like it couldn't really absorb the sauce thoroughly.
My dad ordered Spicy Mexican Roasted Spring Chicken - Half. The chicken smelled aromatic and had a crispy, alluring orange skin. It was quite succulent. The accompanying fried potatoes were served piping hot and had a nicely fried, crunchy skin too.
