Small neighborhood bakery in Kennedy Town that is bound to draw you in with the irresistible smell of their freshly baked goods. We tried the oat bread, pineapple buns, chicken pie, walnut cookie, French loaf and walnut sponge cake. Except for the walnut sponge cake, which was a bit dry for us, everything else tasted really good. Their oat bread is my absolute favorite!

I used to buy from this bakery everyday when i was young since was living nearby. The buns are very low priced since it aims to serve the elderly, and they are all huge! Just $3-4 could get a big bun that fills up the stomach! I was so lucky that day to have their freshly baked egg tart!! It usually goes very quickly! So don’t miss it when you see them there!

Life Bakery is the bakery of my life! I went to other bakeries but this one is the cheapest. Hence, the bread was very affordable for students like me. A staff of this bakery speaks English fluently! Note that the menu mentions every name of the bread in English on the top, so it is foreigner-friendly. Staffs are warmhearted, therefore, I understand why this place is always packed with customers. All types of bread, especially egg tarts (5.5 HKD for each), are delicious. The crust is soft, plus the egg filling is moist and freshly baked. Do not hesitate...

One of the best bakeries I experienced in Hong Kong. Very good food at affordable prices, great family run business who are kind to everyone they meet. Going here for four years and not a single day of greet and friendly speech. I highly recommend for anyone to try the egg tarts and cake items for very good price.
