The pasta was ok However, the dessert tiramisu they served contains very heavy alcohol. I was very surprised because there is no description on the menu and when we ordered it, the server didn’t say anything about it. When they serve on the table , the waitress did not give us a head up, either. I took a bite and was very shocked at the taste. I asked them is alcohol in it and they said yes. I asked the staff can I change to one without alcohol in it? She said no.
Why didn’t they say it at the first place then? Why didn’t they put it on the menu? It’s alcohol . There are a lot of reasons people cannot take alcohol even just for a bite. What if diners have to drive later? What if diners have to work later? What if diners are allergic? What if diners are pregnant? What if diners are breastfeeding? What if diners are taking medication ? what if diners are struggling to be sober? There are just too many reasons !! I understand different restaurants have different recipes on making their own dessert. But since you are going to provide alcohol in something not most people expect. Not giving information is definitely a FRUAD.
I can’t believe how unprofessional this restaurant is. I really suggest they put it on the menu to be more secure and considerate. This is the most horrible, horrible, horrible dinning experience that I have ever had. won’t...
Read moreI’ve been to the Tai Hang’s restaurant for a few times and we loved it. This is the first time we try the Kwun Tong shop and the appetiser disappointed us a lot. It was “Malakoff” which is supposed to be a fried cheese fondue in ball shape. But as you see from the first photo, PS this is exactly how it look the second it’s put on our table although it looks like someone took a bite. It’s obviously a failed one and I can’t imagine they accept this to be put on table. See another photo (updated) which is what we found from other people’s review. Having said that, the pastas were good. I just wish the chef could take it more seriously on what’s being put and present on table, it makes a...
