The Meek Coffee — Restaurant in Kowloon

I just want to say thank you to the meek coffee. I had lunch there with my colleagues. It’s just hard to find quiet and spacious cafe nowadays. I was offered a seat along the window. It’s on 11/f of the commercial building with a nice view.

We ordered an all-day, tried their latte, a fruity blend from Ethiopia. The coffee is just amazing, handcrafted by the owner. I don’t know too much about coffee. The owner explained me the coffee blend, and even the size of the coffee grind can alter the taste of the coffee….I’m happy that she spent the time explaining.

We also tried their matcha latte, also handcrafted, and their homemade lemon cheese cake. Their cakes are good!

The portion of the all-day is quite ok. I liked the sour dough toast. Their eggs are smooth and smoked salmon goes well with their green salad.

The space is sooooo clean & tidy you won’t believe, with a simplistic design filled with rich coffee aroma. There is also no “food smell” which I can’t stand as it sticks on my clothes and suits.

Food: I had a breakfast/brunch set which was available until 11am, with a half-priced drink included (I chose matcha latte). Food was on the milder side which was great as I prefer not too salty but was still tasty. Good portion size. Matcha latte was smooth and thick with lots of matcha. Order by QR code.

They had other cakes, the sesame Basque cheesecake 芝麻巴斯克芝士蛋糕 looked interesting, might try next time.

Service and atmosphere: The staff are absolutely wonderful and friendly. Quiet and cosy environment, not crowded, ambient music. They also have a small box of prayer requests if you would like to add yours in! Loved the minimalistic stylish decor of Bible verses (the owners are Christian).

Total cost of breakfast/brunch set: mushroom egg sourbread salad 雜菌沙律配忌廉牛乳炒蛋酸種包 + half-priced drink: $79.

Overall I had a wonderful restful time, it was a safe space to just breathe, reflect and enjoy the natural window light with good healthy food while time slows down. Stumbled upon here just walking around the area and I'm grateful for finding this slightly...

We had the sous vide chicken salad. The chicken was tender and it was sooooo refreshing. Then for dessert we went for the lemon cheesecake, the scone and the matcha basque cheesecake. Amazing dessert and they weren’t too sweet. I loved the cheesecake in particular . The tanginess was just right for me! So refreshing.
