This isn’t my first time visiting this dim sum restaurant, and I’m aware that it’s usually filled with senior customers who are long-term regulars. I’ve always been okay with that because the food is reasonable and decent. However, my recent visit last Saturday noon was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience.
When I arrived, the reception staff told me to go straight in, so I did. Once inside, I noticed that many of the staff were busy attending to their long-term customers. The customers in front of me were clearly among that group and were greeted warmly by two engaging staff members. Meanwhile, I was completely ignored—no one even acknowledged my presence.
After waiting for a while, I finally managed to make eye contact with one staff member. Instead of assisting me, she just told me to go further into the room and find a table myself. I walked in and found two empty tables, but they had reservation cards on them for long-term customers. Frustrated, I went back out to ask the same staff member if I could sit at one of those tables. However, she was chatting with a customer and wasn’t paying attention to other guests.
When I interrupted to ask her about the tables, her response was shockingly rude and impatient. She snapped at me, saying, “I told you to go out and wait if there’s no table. If it’s written as reserved, then you cannot sit. Go out and wait!” Her tone and attitude were completely unprofessional. I explained to her that I was told to come in and that it was her responsibility to help me find a table, not to leave me wandering around and then yell at me for not finding one.
The service I received was absolutely unacceptable. It felt like they prioritized their regular customers and treated others as if they didn’t matter. I understand that long-term customers are important, but every guest deserves to be treated with respect and care.

🌟孖寶 $298 清蒸生猛沙巴龍躉班 The fish is perfectly cooked, with a slight sheen and an inviting aroma. Its tender, smooth flesh separates easily with a gentle touch. A drizzle of soy sauce, complemented by scallions and ginger slices, enhances the fish’s natural freshness.
鼓椒洋蔥炒聖子 The scallops are bursting with flavor and have a delightful, bouncy texture. The crisp bell peppers add a refreshing sweetness to the dish.
🌟避風塘炒辣蟹 The crab is meaty and juicy, perfectly retaining its sweetness and moisture even after being stir-fried with garlic and dried chili. The spice level is just right—not too overwhelming—allowing the crab‘s natural flavors to shine through. Truly exceptional.
