Before you go, I should warn you there is a Ah Long next door as well and I managed to get the story from an old time regular. Basically, the owner of Ah Lung had an apprentice who also wanted to capitalize on Ah Lung’s delicious curry recipe and so created Ah Long right next to the original store 🫠 so, don’t get confused and go to the wrong store because the regular said there is a drastic difference.
Anyways, the curry is chockfull of caramelized onions and aromatics, I highly recommend adding $20 for potatoes because they are so fluffy and absorbed the sauce so well. The ratio of curry to roti may appear imbalanced but they actually serves the curry so it is perfectly used up by your chosen vessel. You can choose non-spicy, mild, medium, or hot and I went with mild and it’s perfectly spicy to the point where you can appreciate the different flavors but also gives a panting effect so it’s extra memorable.
You can choose from a variety of proteins, the two of us went for cow tongue and a prawn. Cow tongue is a tad chewy but remarkable flavor. Prawn is huge and well-cooked. But the star is obviously the curry sauce.

All dishes in pak/India are categorized by regions.. such as sindh/panjab/gujarat etc. Curry is just filled with hell lot of onions no taste.. why will anyone like this not sure. Overrated place.. prices not justifying taste and cleanliness. Will...
