Nestled along the vibrant Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, Watermark is a delightful coastal restaurant that effortlessly combines elegance with a relaxed, seaside ambiance.

Housed within the iconic Star House near the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, this gem offers stunning panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the glittering skyline of Hong Kong Island, making it an ideal spot for both romantic dinners and lively gatherings with friends.

Watermark’s menu is a celebration of culinary diversity, with a strong focus on fresh seafood that showcases the bounty of the ocean. From succulent grilled prawns to perfectly seared scallops, each dish is crafted with precision and presented with flair. The restaurant also excels in its pasta offerings, with highlights like creamy lobster linguine and classic carbonara that strike a balance between indulgent and refined. For meat lovers, the menu doesn’t disappoint—think tender Wagyu beef striploin or herb-crusted lamb chops, cooked to perfection and paired with thoughtfully selected sides. The wine list is equally impressive, featuring a curated selection of Old and New World vintages that complement the coastal-inspired cuisine.

The atmosphere at Watermark is nothing short of captivating. The interior is brilliantly lit, with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light during the day and reflect the harbor’s twinkling lights at night. The decor is sleek yet inviting, blending modern sophistication with nautical touches that nod to its waterfront location. Whether you’re seated at a table overlooking the pier or in a cozy corner, the view across the water—complete with passing ferries and the distant hum of the city—creates a mesmerizing backdrop that elevates every meal.

What sets Watermark apart is its ability to transition seamlessly from a fine-dining experience to a launchpad for a night out. After savoring a leisurely meal, it’s a short stroll to Pier 7, a chic rooftop bar just minutes away at the Star Ferry Pier. Pier 7’s open-air setting and craft cocktails make it the perfect spot for a late-hour drink, allowing you to extend the evening with harbor breezes and unbeatable views. This combination of Watermark’s culinary excellence and Pier 7’s vibrant nightlife makes for an unforgettable Hong Kong experience.

Service at Watermark is attentive yet unobtrusive, with staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to recommend pairings or accommodate dietary preferences. While the restaurant leans toward the pricier side, the quality of the food, the breathtaking setting, and the overall experience justify the cost for a special occasion or a treat-yourself evening.

Recommendation: Reserve a table at sunset to catch the harbor’s golden hour glow, and don’t skip dessert—their signature chocolate lava cake with a scoop of artisanal ice cream is divine. After dinner, head to Pier 7 for a nightcap under the stars. Watermark is more than a meal; it’s a sensory journey that captures the essence of Hong Kong’s...

Such a blast indulging in a beautiful range of Chilean wines from two acclaimed wineries at 𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊’s wine pairing dinner, including Luis Felipe Edwards Winery, Chile’s largest 100% family-owned winery that founded in 1976 in Colchagua Valley, offering a wide range of high-quality and vegan-friendly wines that reflect Chile's diverse terroir; as well as Santa Carolina Winery, one of Chile's most historic and prestigious wine producers with international recognition of being ranked among the 7" World's Most Powerful Wine Brands by Wine Intelligence. ☞ 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 - 𝐀 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 - 𝐇𝐊$𝟖𝟖𝟖 𝐏𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 The exclusive wine pairing dinner starts with tempting canapés of Ceviche Spoon, Beef Cheek Cazuela Basket, and Pichanga Tart in pairing with Luis Felipe Edwards, Family Selection, Gran Reserva, Sauvignon Blanc, Chile, 2024 that boasts its herbal and ripe white fruit notes. So happy to share that Watermark on the upper floor of Central Pier 7 has reopened! We love their amazing 270 degrees view of Victoria Harbour waterfront dining.

We began our culinary journey evening with a stunning Heirloom Tomato salad, vibrant with colors and bursting with flavor, drizzled with a delicate balsamic reduction. Next, we indulge in a creamy Beetroot & Burrata Mousse, where the earthy sweetness of beetroot complements the richness of burrata, creating a dish that is both visually striking and delicious. The anticipation built as the Seared Hokkaido Scallop arrived, perfectly caramelized on the outside, tender and succulent within. It’s accompanied by a light citrus dressing that elevates the dish to a new level. Finally, the Hamachi Crudo presented itself, thinly sliced and adorned with microgreens offering a refreshing and delicate taste of the sea.

For the mains, the Iberico Pork was a revelation, showcasing its rich marbling and deep flavor, complemented by a side of seasonal vegetables. Next, the Beef Cheek was a masterpiece, slow-cooked to perfection, melting in our mouth with each bite, served with a savory reduction that enhances its robust flavor.

The Patagonian Toothfish’s mild taste paired with a zesty sauce, creating a delightful contrast. Finally, the highlight of the night arrives- the M7 Wagyu Flat Iron Steak cooked to perfection and seasoned simply to allow the natural flavors to shine.

To conclude this culinary adventure, the classic Cheesecake was creamy and rich, with a graham cracker crust that adds the perfect crunch. The Poached Pear offered a more delicate finish, poached in spiced syrup, served with a scoop of velvety vanilla ice cream. Meanwhile, the Tiramisu presented layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone, a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. Lastly, the Mango Coconut Pavlova dazzled with its light meringue base topped with fresh mango and coconut cream provided a tropical finish to an already...
