I recently visited City Gallery and found it to be an average attraction. The gallery offers a glimpse into the history and development of the city, and it was interesting to learn about some of the key landmarks and events that have shaped it. However, I didn't find the exhibits to be particularly engaging or interactive. While there were a few multimedia displays, most of the information was presented through static displays and plaques. Additionally, some of the exhibits felt a bit dated and could benefit from an update. The staff at the gallery were friendly and helpful, but there didn't seem to be many of them around to answer questions or provide additional information. I would say that City Gallery is worth a visit if you're interested in learning more about the history of the city, but it may not be the most exciting or engaging attraction. The exhibits could benefit from more interactivity and updates, but the friendly staff and informative displays still make it a decent option for a day out.

I was astounded with how much taxpayers' money spent on this project. In a Saturday afternoon, there were only less than 5 visitors, the gallery has more staff than visitors, but they neither greet the guests nor initiate assistance. Some of the TV panels touching sensors broken. I was told to use the palm of your hand' heat to make the sensor feel it, which it was supposed to be a finger size, 2cm deep hole. The entire layout makes you feel that they are not sincerely collecting opinions from the public, and rather promoting the future city plans that the government admonished you to accept it. And I forgot to mention there's an harbour view balcony on the second floor. What impressed me was this place was quite enough for dating couples to make out over there.

HK's planning and infrastructure gallery. It showcases HK's planning strategies and blueprint proposal, historical development and growth of the city, as well as the future development proposals. There is also a gallery for temporary and changing exhibitions of the same subject matter. Informative for those interested in this field. Just felt the displays were a bit sparse, compared to years ago, when I last visited. Perhaps most of the development plans had been carried out already. It is still a comfortable and enriching place to visit and take a break. Entrance is free, and usually not many visitors.
