小點角落 BITE BY BITE — Restaurant in Kowloon

Having moved from Canada to Japan and now to Hong Kong, I've had to adjust to different standards of customer service and cleanliness especially in Hong Kong. So, you can imagine my surprise when I had lunch at Bite by Bite for the first time today.

It felt like I was transported back to Japan, thanks to their excellent Japanese-like service and the pleasant atmosphere. The fact that they are conveniently located next to my workplace made it even better. I was just casually exploring for something different today, and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this gem. Bite by Bite has earned a permanent spot on my lunch break routine. I'll definitely be coming...

The food, atmosphere, and service here is really good. They take the food of HK to the next level in terms of complexity, presentation, and flavour. In my opinion, this is one of the best resturants in the area, and is better then a lot of the famous places of the same type in Central and TST. Do note that the dessert toppings, such as the sugar threads on top of the tiramisu may be a bit sweet for some people, so you might want to not mix as much in your dish before eating.

The presentation and taste of the desserts we tried were great. We had their famous tofu pudding and egg waffle, and also matcha tiramisu and walnut soup. The place is easy to find if you're around mong kok. Price wise, a bit more expensive than usual but if you want to try traditional dessert with a little bit of a show, this was a good experience.
