Finally got some tables at this forever-packed bar. Shisha available after 10 but we managed to sneak in the backdoor for some early puff time. Well-made cocktail and shisha they serve.

Location-wise is a bit remote from the busiest Mongkok district. Together with few other bars next door, it forms a little community here. Could be an alternative if you want some me-time after an intense day of shopping nearby but TST is too far.

Pipe from Oduman. Tried their Lychee + Earl Grey with Earl Grey base, and Paan with Earl Grey base. Flavour lies on the medium spectrum, not the most intense ones I had. Longevity around 1 hour, it did take some time for the charcoal to heat up and some extra puff to achieve that ‘on-fire’ fume. Not the thickest smoke in town but definitely I am not mad at it.

You can feel the Lychee and Earl Grey layering up and they reveal themselves as time went by. The Earl Grey base further enhance the tea aftertaste which matches with the Lychee in the tobacco.

Then the Paan with Earl Grey base, also medium flavour intensity. The charcoal was burnt more evenly and quicker as it just took me few puff to ‘start the engine’. No problem for continuous puffing for 1.5 hours.

The shisha did deliver some quality - smooth smoke, long-lasting flavours, just for my own palate I prefer stronger flavour and thicker smoke, but I guess it is just the flavours I chose. Overall it is an enjoyable one and next time should do some wine based mix.

Won’t be back for sure. Came here for shisha and they requested minimum order of 2 drink and 1 food per hour otherwise they won’t refill the coal for you. I understand the minimum charge but after my first order I felt continuously urged by waiters to order more drinks. After the first hour, we decided not to order more and they urge us to pay for the bills, almost felt like they were shooing us away.

Ordered a squid appetizer which was 5 bitesize bruschetta, each had 2 thinly sliced green apples and 1 slice of squid the size of $1 coin which was almost non existent. We were charged $80 for that appetizer which was way overpriced. We ordered 2 cocktails which didn’t taste that great either.

The only thing that was good was that the shisha was strong and lasted for quite a while. But when we asked the waiter the flavor “love 66” she described it as fruity, so we tried and in fact it...

I understand we all have to order food to go with drinks in order to be more legitimate with the current ban on places selling drinks only. but it was downright rude to present customers with only the food menu at first, and refused to provide drink menu even when requested. was basically demanded to order food before I could get my hand on drink menu. obliged anyway and ordered some food, and got the drink menu, finally. what's more ridiculous, only after ordering food were we told the minimum charge was one drink per person per hour. asked what if ordering a bottle of wine, told it'd be good for 1.5hr only. never been to such arrogant place, setting how fast one has to finish his drink. no enjoyment at all. left immediately after a. drink for a much friendlier place in...
