Small restaurant serving bánh mì, vietnamese baguette sandwich, with an option of side veggies an/or soup. The bread has a excellent texture and bounce. The fillings are classic, comprised of vietnamese pork sausage, pickled radishes, pâté, garnishes e.g. cilantro, chili. There is an option to go for spicy or non-spicy, otherwise all submarines had the same filling. My preference is to go with a 9" sandwich ($50) and forgo the sides.
The ordering procedure may be a bit confusing for first timer. After you entered the shop, you take a number from behind the sliding door, which is your queue number. You pay in a self-serving bowl (collect your own change) and return the number card to the tin near the payment area, and wait for your sandwich.
On the day of visit in May 2022, the shop is take out only, though previously there was a tiny sit in area that could accomendate around 5 people on stools. The shop obviously has its own fans as evident by the owner greeting some of the customer by their names. Have a go for it, you may...

Of course, not every bite was perfectly equal (I refrain from using the word, balanced, because in my mind, every bite was balanced in its own way). Some bites had more shredded pork, some had more pickled veg. But that was also the beauty of this Banh Mi. Whilst every bite was beautiful, the ingredients sang their own, respective, chorus. And I welcomed that: "Ah, here comes the shredded pork. Ah the pickled veg, nice to taste you again. Ah, now the pate comes alive." Gorgeous. Beautiful....
